Electro is the name of two fictional supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Maxwell "Max" Dillon, the first Electro, is an enemy of Spider-Man who gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line. Electro has since become one of Spider-Man's most enduring foes, becoming part of the collective rogue team known as the Sinister Six. The second Electro is Francine Frye. ~ wiki

Scientists create stretchable battery made entirely out of fabric
New microbial fuel cell could be integrated into wearable electronics

Summary:
Scientists have developed an entirely textile-based, bacteria-powered bio-battery that could one day be integrated into wearable electronics.
Additionally, these textile-based biobatteries exhibit stable electricity-generating capability when tested under repeated stretching and twisting cycles.

So, based on this scientific break-thru, perhaps our future holds promise that YOU might actually become an Electro.

Is this science fiction becoming reality?
Imagine this technology tweaked for high capacity and able to be used at will?
It may not allow you to shoot electricity from your finger tips (what if it does) but it might allow you to energize any circuit by touch. Circuits are controlled by switches. If you were to be able to energize a circuit on the load side of the switch, that device will work. Transistors are basically switches. They allow power or ground to connect the load.
You would still need a ground, perhaps a strip that runs from one finger down the leg to the bottom of your shoe. Maybe an insulated contact strip on one finger to enable polarity? Who knows? One thing is certain, invention leads to new invention. Point is, we have the technology to create an electrified suit.
That's pretty cool scifi news.
