yeah, I'm sure that Michael agreed to that. I gues I won't care what they hell they do with this show now, since I won't be watching. and like him more than Vaughn,give me a break is this the same people who told us that we would LOVE MG,yeah like that ever happened.

Amen. Give me break. Talk about kicking Vaughn fans while they're down, to suggest that we'll like his "replacement" better is insulting in the extreme.

I definitely won't be watching this "fun" new guy.

Well, I don't care what may transpire because I won't be watching Alias without Vaughn.
I'm not going to be strung along either with some vague promise that if I'm a good girl and watch the whole season, Vaughn might reappear. I also refuse to watch them attempt any further character assassination so that maybe fans won't mind so much if he's gone. TPTB can try all they like to put a positive spin on this, but I'm not buying it.

By the way, I also thought Vaughn was a strong character who stood up effectively to Jack, Sloane, Irina, Kendall, Haladki, Sark, the CIA, and Sydney, as well as countless other characters thoughout the series.

Okay, so I've got the Vaughn going to a better place part but what about the reference you made to Vartan going to a better place? I'm hoping there was at least a pay out and possibly a development deal in the works for him. You don't seem to like him but he has been a team player for this show and he does have many, many fans... like me.

I can't quite remember exactly which episode that he guested on Charmed... I just remember the face and then name... (okay well so I didn't remember the face, all I knew was that he looked familiar, same thing. )

What you will already notice and see more of once he is introduced is that he is supposed to be the opposite of Vaughn.  Don't want to start a war or piss fest, but
Vaughn wasn't really all that FUN- I think this character is going to be good for Syd and hopefully the new girls will give Syd some cool new stuff to work with and against. 
Vaughn is going to a better place as is Vartan - ALIAS will be different, but that's not always a terrible thing.

Good for Syd? If they try to make him a love interest, while she is pregnant with Vaughn's baby, that is an even bigger slap in the face.

Alias without MV is just not for me.

Thank you for the info. I dont mind new characters at all. I just hope they end the S/V with both of them alive and together. I just dont see it any other way. It would be a complete surprise if they broke up the mother and father of two they have had in love for seasons....and just let the cult fans have what we want.

The new guy is not supposed to be Syd's new interest (at least not the way I read about it). She will be off with help of new agent trying to clear Vaughns name etc... hopefully when she does they will be in a stronger car with baby in the backseat rear facing pulling into their house on the beach. The End!

Fiction you are right on the marble. I don't see Getty being Vaughn's replacement. I think its more along the lines they are setting up Rachel Nichols's character for a romantic interest. Syd's got too much on her plate to get involved with the new guy.

And I still say "Let it pan out, let the story unfold" because it might better than all of us think its going to be.

If we want Alias to go out with a BANG, I'm just gonna sit back and watch.
