Well that is not what the spoilers sources put, she/he said that he would be good for Syd,the opposite of Vaughn, if that is not a love interest for her why would he be any good for Syd.


I really should just be quiet,since I won't be watching this show anymore, the moment MV make his last appearance is the last time I will watch this show. and this is from someone who has watched every single episode live even the dreck that was season 3. But this is too much.

I guess with the info that we just got,the person who told us that someone else was involved in the decision as to which character was going to die was true. what a pity I used to like this person alot,now not at all.
 
alright...i think i'm just gonna re-state this...to the best of my knowledge there is no confirmation of Michael Vartan leaving (i could be wrong) so we arent in a position to say 'syds new love interest'

Agreed, except if they think they can string fans along with the promise that maybe MV will reappear, I'm not buying. They could be filming MV flashbacks and planning on inserting them throughout the season to sucker people into continuing to watch.
I hope that some day (and that day is coming soon) when Alias is over that someone like Kristin or Ted spills about what really happened. Sounds more interesting than the AliasLite TPTB have planned instead.

Agreed. And him coming back at the end for the happy ending doesn't do it for me either.

ETA: To clarify. I want the happy ending, but it just may not be enough for me anymore.

It gets more interesting by the minute. ABC really doesn't need to tell us anything because it's all unfolding before our eyes.

MV leaving Alias is just a rumor...no one has confirmed it. I chose not to believe the rumor and I refuse to believe that this new agent is here to replace Vaughn. It ain't gonna happen, no one is gonna replace Vaughn - Sydney made that very clear herself when she told Vaughn that she wouldn't have gotten over him...she would have waited.

I still don't believe about a certain person having a hand in MV's possible removal.

And Syd wouldn't take on a romantic relationship with anyone but Vaughn. she stated that had it been reversed in Season three, she would have waited and looked for him, and that is exactly what I believe she will do this season, wait for him, and do every thing in her power to find out the truth and what happened to him, the new guy, who I think looks like Charlie Sheen in the picture that has greasy hair, will probably be more of a Will replacement not a Vaughn replacement. but that’s my personal take on the whole thing.

ABC should know (hopefully by now) that it would lose a lot of Alias fans if MV leaves the show including me. After third episode, I am gone. (If he is not there).

but Ruth,don't you know that the new agent is sooo much fun that you will love him and not even care that Vaughn is gone(very Sarcastic)



btw: I too will be gone once Vartan is gone from the show.
 
Hmm's I remember Balty from one of the Young Guns Movies with Kiefer Sutherland but I think he died fairly early on in the one he was in.

It will be interesting to see what sort of character he plays.

Still no confirmation about MV leaving so Im sitting in the Docks of Denile.

Anyone else wish to join me?
