J.J. Abrams confirmed to TV Guide Online that the first season is being preped for release:
"There are going to be a lot of great special features," he says of the mult-disc set, wich is slated to arrive in stores on Sept. 2. "When I filmed the pilot, a good friend of mine shot like eight or nine hours of behind-the-scenes footage and did interviews with most of the cast. So, in addition to a number of other really cool features, we're going to edit together a behind-the-scenes piece on the making of the pilot."

yah!!behind the scenes, thats soo exciting! im buying two copies as soon as it comes out(one to watch, and the other incase that one breaks from reuse and/or to keep safe!LOL) even though i have all hte episodes taped, special features and clearer picture!!!YEAH! i cant wait, as soon as it comes out i am going to buy it and host a marathon for everyone i know, even nonalias ppl, get them recruited!!bu tof course no will be able to talk or chew or cough,it will be silence(especially since no commericals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thats the best part!)

I was stupid last season, and I never even thought to tape the episodes, except for the Season Finale. Which makes the release even more important to me. I'm probably going to buy two also.

five discs!! I'll be up for three days straight!! but why, oh why, did they have to release it right when school starts, when I'm just starting to get used to heavy homework loads..... I wish it could be released during the summer, that way, I'd never get bored!!!
