Wait a minute, I never herd from ANYWHERE that a rerun was on tomorrow.!! Last weekend on the preview is said "Next week is gettin hot" and it showed Syd in a bikini and then it said "And in two weeks, on super bowl weekend" How could they be playing a gosh darn RERUN??????

The Golden Globes are on tomorrow night, and as awards shows go, they are second in terms of ratings. ABC knows that most people will be watching those, not Alias.

Plus, Alias is nominated for awards. I'm sure the people from the show would appreciate it if the fans showed their support and watched the awards. It looks like a good possibility that Jennifer Garner might win again. I'd hate to have to choose between that and a new episode of Alias, so I'm glad ABC decided to show a rerun. (And BTW, I'm pretty sure that bikini shot was from the superbowl ep. I remember hearing in an interview that she was going to be in a bikini in that one.)

Well then the preview was wrong. I hate it when they do that.. Cause I just watched it and it said, "next sunday, alias is hot. And in two weeks, it's gonna explode" So it must have been wrong which really makes me mad. :angry: :madfire:

It wasn't really wrong. They didn't say, "Next Sunday, on an all-new Alias"...The reason they said it was "hot" was because it isn't new and they had to think of some way to still make it sound good. They can't just say, "Next week's a rerun, but the NEXT week..." because that would be really bad advertising. Generally, if it's a rerun, they just advertise like usual but without saying that it's new. But it was sort of like false advertising the way they showed the bikini scene when they said that, I agree. I'm pretty sure all the clips were from the Superbowl ep, so that was misleading.

Are you asking whether Sloane will be back? I think the issue in the next show is about that very question, so I don't know. I guess it's possible that he won't be back to SD-6, (although highly unlikely) but I don't think Ron Rifkin is leaving the show, so I'm sure he'll be around in some form. I hope so anyway.

Wait, you are sure that there is not going to be a new wpisode on tomarrow? That is a huge bummer I really was looking forward to it! ISn't that like false advertising?
