“I’ve been missing for two years?” Sydney whispered. “How is that possible? We are in the ****ing CIA! They find people, easily! I couldn’t have just disapeared, there would have been research done! This is ridiculous!” Sydney began shouting after a few minutes of silent thinking. “Syd, we tried. We really did, we thought . . . we thought you were dead.” Vaughn said, looking down ashamed. “Yes, the odds were against me, this clone had killed my roomate, she could have killed me. But since when did the CIA act on the odds? Did you just give up on me? Sydney choked. “Syd, try to calm down, we did look for you. We-“ Vaughn began, trying to act calm but Sydney interrupted him. “When did you decide I was dead, what proof did you have?” “Your house was blown up when I got there Syd. We found your belongings, your gun, a tooth, and a toe. We decided you had been blown up. We didn’t know you had been taken. Will, luckily was found and saved. He’s just fine. Francie was also blown up. We found more then just a tooth and a toe from her.” Vaughn explained. “Wait Will can’t be alive, I saw him dead, in the bathtub, like . . . like Danny.”
::Sydney::
I couldn’t sort out all the thoughts mixed into my head. I was gone for two years, had no memories of the two years, Vaughn had a ring on his finger, Francie was dead, Will was alive, what about my mom? Where was she? And Sloane, what had happened to him? Who blew up the house? How did Will and I escape it? What the hell is going on? Vaughn and I are being flown to the CIA. I can’t look at Vaughn without crying, I can’t do anything without crying. I don’t want to talk anymore, I don’t want to open my eyes anymore, I don’t want to be anymore. Whats the point? Everyone had forgotten about me. Will I still just be forgotten? My eyes met Vaughn’s. “Are you married?” I managed to ask. “No, engaged. To . . to Alice.” He answered. I wimpered, turning away from him. “Sydney, I’m so sorry. If I had known . . .” Luckily, he shutup then, I wouldn’t have been able to take much more. I closed my eyes, trying to think. I slipped into a restless sleep.
*Flash Back*
Red, red was all I saw. A brief veiw of my mothers face, then more red. The next thing I new, I was in the back of a car. I tried to sit up, but my head pounded and my foot throbbed. I looked down, my shoe was gone, and so was a toe. “Where am I?” I tried to say but my mouth was sore, a mollar had been pulled out. My mother turned from the wheel. “Don’t worry Sydney, I’m going to take care of you. Everything will be fine. You just stay there and rest. Just stay there and rest.” Red again.
::Vaughn::
The CIA was disturbingly quiet as Sydney and I came in. Sydney was escorted to a small room by two gaurds right away. Her face showed terrified confusion. Walking to the breafing room I tried to get everything straight in my mind. Sydney was alive, she had been kidnapped. I put myself in her place, I suddenly woke up to see that the world had gone on without me. I wouldn’t be able to handle that, how would she? Jack, Marshal, Kendell, and Carry sat at the briefing table. I had a seat, waiting for someone to start a conversation. “What in hell are we going to do about this?” I said finally. “I have no idea.” Mumbled Kendell. “We have to find out what happened. We have to get her memory back. Therapy probably won’t work, so what will? We have to search her, get as much information as we can from her.” Carry said quietly. “Right, but we don’t have time for that right now, we have to let her stabalize, we oursleves have to stabalize.” Kendell said. “Right umm, but sir, could we you know, since we haven’t seen her so long, it’s been two years, so could we see-“ Marshal stuttered. “No, she requested to be picked up by Will right away, and he’ll be here any minute now.” Said Kendell. “I’m her father, I want to see her now. Vaughn was sent to see her, I should be able to go . . . now.” Jack said. “No you can’t. Vaughn was the only one available to pick her up, it could have been you but you were busy.” Kendell replied in a stiff voice. “I’m her ****ing father! She is my ****ing daughter! I want to see her NOW!” Jack said, raising his voice. “No.” Kendell answered. “Carry, you make a list of questions that need to be answered, I want EVERYTHING on there. Good night all.” He then got up and left the room. On my out of the CIA drive way I saw Will pulling in. He gave me a breif look of confusion and a slow smile, all I did was nod. I tried to focus on getting home, but my mind was a blur. I can’t imagine what it would be like for Sydney.

“Jen! I’m back!” I yelled into the cold house. No answer, typical for Jen, a 14-year-old. I walked through the kitchen and stopped at the refridgerator, looking to see if anyone was watching. I pulled it open and turned the tiny nob inside, and the refrigderator slid sideways revealing my secret door. I went inside and locked it behind me then slowly walked down the steel steps. “Sydney? Are you hun-“ I stopped, Sydney wasn’t there. I ran up the stairs and burst through the secret door. “Jen! Where the hell is she! What did you do with her!?” I yelled running into her room. “Who, what are you talking about. Calm down mom.” Jen answered cooly, but she was hiding something, I could see it. “I know you know about her, you were watching me! This is just perfect! That’s why I can’t tell you these kind of things!” I yelled. “Mom, she’s my sister! I never knew I had a sister, and neither did she! You were going to kill her, you are using her to do something bad! I saved her! I was being a REAL sister, like you should be a real mother!” Jen exploded, running out of the house. “Jen STOP! STOP!” I yelled after her, but she wouldn’t. I jumped into my car and spend up to her, pulling my gun out and pointing it at her.
