Is Vaughn really vaughn?

How do we know if Vaughn isn't a fake? Francie was. I'm not saying that he a double or anything, but what if he has secretly been working for the covenant this whole time? That would be terrible, i think. He couldn't be could he? But something doesn't seem right.

i kinda don't want him to be fake, the kiss in Korea and the season finale was so sweet, ^_^ but then i kinda do- because that would explain why he treated syd so terribly this season and why he was being such a jerk, jerking her around and everything :angry:
