Sci-Fi Need your assistance to id tv or movie

Hello all first post.....many years ago (perhaps 40) I watched a movie or a tv show in which humans were in a cave type structure and laid out on beds. All that I can remember is that these aliens were operating a large drill press type machine to drill holes into the forehead of each of the captive humans. I realize this is a very vague description but does anyone recall the name of this movie or show?

Pudgey3, do you remember why they were drilling into their heads? That might shake loose a few memories for people greater than the scene.
