I wouldn't be so quick to think Jack trusts Sloane. I would be careful-always always assume that Jack knows more than he lets on. Trust really isn't in his vocabulary.

I agree - and Jack specifically said to Dixon that one of the things that crossed his mind when applying for Sloane to be reinstated was the fact that they could keep an eye on him... again.
