Chapter 3, part 3
"Yes sir," the stewardess replied. She then turned on her spiked heel and returned to the galley, Weiss' eyes following her short skirt every step of the way.
"Well I guess that answers the question as to whether or not you're seeing anyone." Vaughn couldn't help but laugh. Some things never changed.
"Hey...don't give up on me that easy!" Weiss tried to protest, but one laughing glance from each of the others silenced his protests. "Ok, so you know me. It's not like I haven't had a relationship since you left town."
"I'll believe that," said Vaughn. "Any last more than two weeks?"
Will smiled wickedly and ansered, "oh, there was Jenny from personnell for 3 weeks, Sarah the Arabic specialist for four, and let's not forget Mike in payroll...."
"Ok buster, you just crossed the line..." Weiss stood up to punch Will square in the jaw, but thankfully was prohibited by a jolt of turbulence. Dixon, Marshall and Vaughn laughed. But Vaughn quickly silenced himself, remembering Sydney's smile when she laughed.
Hearing the silence, the others realized what he must be thinking. Dixon smiled faintly, there were so many bonds between them now, and it was heartening to be together in this. The stewardess came in with the drinks and pigs in a blanket, and the five began remembering better times.
