[SOLD] Charity Auction, Original Mask from Bedtime Stories staring Adam Sandler

I know I am a newly registered member, but please understand this is not meant as SPAM, but rather a legitimate posting.

I volunteer at an animal rehab facility and it has received a donation of an original mask/head piece used in the movie Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler.

I did the photos and so I can attest to the "coolness" of this mask.

If you are interested, bid away! The money goes 100% to the animals and their care and food.

Normally I would have chalked this up to a spam post but after looking at the eBay auction it appears that this really is for a charity organization.

I'm not sure if the ending price will be anywhere near the "Buy Now" price (which would be nice since it would benefit wildlife society) since the prop was not actually worn by any of the principal actors in the film but for the collectors out there, this might be a chance to pick up movie prop in great shape at a low price.

Thank you Kevin. The buy it now is a bit high, I didn't have a hand in creation of the auction, but hopefully someone will get a cool movie prop for a nice price.

hotrod4x5, do you happen to know if a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) is included?

I've got the listing as a "Watched" item for now... if the price does not jump wildly before closing, I may just have to go for this one myself. :D

Kevin, I do not think so. The creator of the mask personally donated it. He has worked on other movies, such as Alien. You can send an email through the listing and ask.

Well the item sold for a respectable $510. I do not know if it would have fetched more with a COA, but probably. I am sure the ranch will be happy with that amount.

If I could, I would edit the original title to reflect the sold status.

I suspect the final price had less to do with the COA and more to do with who wore the mask on screen. But that is still a nice donation for the society that will go towards a nice cause. :)
