What foods do you combine that taste good together for you?
Do you experiment?
Do you see someone else do it and decide to try it?
Is it a combination handed down by family tradition?

I like ketchup on my sweet corn.

Ever put malt vinegar on your french fries?

I once new a woman that liked to dip choclate chip cookies in mayo...ewww

Are there any strange drink combinations?

Like mustard in koolaid...ewww again.

I think vinegar on French fries are used in the UK, ever try banana sandwitch, my family has put mayo and banana sliced like chips on bread, its tasty but other folks cringe, its a shame its pretty good. When I was a kid a saw the 3 stooges put catsup on their fried eggs so I tried it a couple of times, but that didn't last, gotta love the 3 stooges...

My dad & mom used to put ketchup on eggs.
I like salsa on breakfast burritos.

I got my daughter hooked on dorito sammiches.
Mayo on each slice and a thick layer of nacho doritos - Crunch

The x and the kids liked cream cheese and green olive sammiches
I couldn't do it - yuk

I do like super hot pork rinds dipped in cream cheese

My x father in law had to have grape jelly in his cereal

LOL...I love ketchup on scrambled eggs....two eggs add some milk and beat them in a bowl and then in the fry pan with some butter melted in the fry pan first, add some salt and pepper and scramble them. Yum!!!

My sister uses milk in her omelets. I never add milk to my eggs, blech. (well, I do like eggnog)

Lets expand this to include spices added to foods that are strange.

Sometimes I cook bacon with Cajun seasoning, the bacon bites you back but it is pretty good.

I used to add sugar to some soups, not so much now because of my diabetes but in my youth I added sugar to lots of foods.

Here's something you might try that I like, Put a ham in the slow cooker with apple cider and agave syrup, its wonderful.

I take the biggest sweet potatoes and slice them into slabs lengthwise bout 1/4 inch thick.
I put them in big ziplock bags and add coarse Italian seasoning, zesty Italian salad dressing, rice vinegar and a spicy seasoning blend, seal the bag and let them sit over night.
I take them to cookouts and bbq them up on the grill like steaks.
They are fantastic. Even people that hate sweet potatoes love them.
