Around new years eve its smells delightfull in many drentse kitchens. Many families are baking what we call knijpertjes 'knieperthes'. Besides kniertjes there are also 'rollechies'; those are knijpertjes that after being baked are spinned round with the help of an stick. After that those rollechies can be filled with whipped cream. Its really really yummy.
