“Dad! Where’s my new Prada bag?!?!”

“Which one sweetie?” Jack calmly asked walking into the main hall.

“My new one.” Sydney rolled her eyes. “Duh.” Sometimes her dad seemed to be in a different world.

Spoilt Little S**t.......

“Where do you think your going?” Jack asked looking at her outfit disapprovingly.

“Out.” She replied vaguely, spotting her pink Prada bag hanging on the coat rack and walking over to grab it.

Jacks jaw hit the floor when he saw the top of a black thong sticking above her skirt. “You are not going anywhere in that, and you have a meeting in twenty minutes with Michael!”

Rebel!!! ohhhhh

Five minutes later, Michael pulled up the drive and came to the door. Jack opened it immediately.

“Good evening Mr. Bristow.” He said politely.

“Hello Michael.” His cold tone sent shivers down his spine. “I’m sorry, but my daughter just left.” Jack shook his head in disgust.

“When will she be back? I can wait…” He asked hopefully, having heard how beautiful Jack’s daughter was.

“I’m afraid I don’t know.” He sighed. “She usually never leaves without telling me, this is just a rare occasion…” He tried to reassure Michael.

“It’s no problem at all. Should we try again next week?”

“Yes, that’d be good. It was nice of you to come and I’ll make sure she is available next time. I’m very sorry about this.”

“No trouble at all.” Michael shook Jack’s hand and went back to his car.
Well thats nice isn't it.... he seemed nice!!!!

“Hey baby.” Sydney greeted Julian, her boyfriend of three months.

“Hey honey. Glad you could make it.” He responded hugging her and leaving his hands lingering on her waist. “Ready?”

“As I’ll ever be.” She said gently grabbing the worn out, dirty clown shoes. “Do I really have to wear these?” She questioned wrinkling her nose.

“Unless you have your own.” He joked.

“Ewww!”

1. it took me awhile to figure out that where going bowling!!!
2.i agree with her... i always bring a spare pair of socks....

--Chapter 2—

“I don’t know how you ever convinced me to do that.” She sighed, now in his car on the way to a club. “Bowling is just so…”

“Gross?” He mocked her. “It’s was poor people like me do for fun.”

“But, like, seriously… you have to wear the same shoes that like, millions of people have already worn!” She exaggerated.

“Yeah, yeah. I get it, no more bowling.” He rolled his eyes and pulled into the parking lot.

“Thank you.” She kissed his cheek lightly and bounced out of his jeep like a little kid. “This is much better.”

“I thought you’d like it, shall we?” He held out his arm for her as if he was leading her into a ball.

“Of course, darling.” She hooked her arm under his and they sauntered into the dark club pulsing with the thundering beat of the music.

“Oh my God! I love this song!”

“Dixon!” Jack yelled at his head of security. “Go activate the tracker on Sydney’s car and bring her home!”

“Yes sir.” He replied formally, scared to death of Jack’s angry side.

“NOW!”

Dixon practically ran away from Jack into the security room. They located her car in the parking lot for ‘Bowl-A-Rama’ and sent her security detail to bring her back. He knew how mad Jack could get and wanted to get Sydney back as fast as possible to prevent any ‘accidents’ from occurring.

For lack of a better thing to do, Michael decided to hit a club. He wanted to find someone that he could convince his parents he was in love with, so they would get off his back about arranging his marriage. It was shallow and wrong to lie to them, but he didn’t want them to pressure him so much like they had when he was younger.

*Flashback*

“Michael! Do your homework!” His mom yelled.

“But I wanted to go to the movies!” Twelve year old Michael said back.

“What about getting into college! What about getting a decent job!”

“Mom, cant I have one night of fun?” He looked to her for some form of sympathy, all he ever did was work.

“Your father wouldn’t want you to give up.” She replied coldly.

“My father is dead.” He spat back, but returned to his room to do his homework none the less.

*End Flashback*

Sometimes he wished his father was never so rich, so he would not have to live up to the prestigious reputation of the
‘Partner of the biggest law firm in the country’ that he was. He wanted to be normal and live his life the way he wanted. This whole marriage thing seemed twisted and backwards to him.

It wasn’t that he didn’t like the Bristows, they were a good family. Jack was well… interesting, and from what he heard about her, Sydney was a beautiful, friendly, and a perfect girl. He just didn’t want the pressure to marry her. He wanted to decide for himself if he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

Pulling into the parking lot, he proceeded to park his car and go inside. What he saw shocked him and might have changed his life forever.

TBC... muhahah
