--Chapter 1--
“Dad! Where’s my new Prada bag?!?!”
“Which one sweetie?” Jack calmly asked walking into the main hall.
“My new one.” Sydney rolled her eyes. “Duh.” Sometimes her dad seemed to be in a different world.
“Isn’t it in your closet, with the rest of your designer bags?”
“Obviously not.” Sydney said as she came down the stairs to the main hall, dressed in a vintage pink top and a jean miniskirt.
“Where do you think your going?” Jack asked looking at her outfit disapprovingly.
“Out.” She replied vaguely, spotting her pink Prada bag hanging on the coat rack and walking over to grab it.
Jacks jaw hit the floor when he saw the top of a black thong sticking above her skirt. “You are not going anywhere in that, and you have a meeting in twenty minutes with Michael!”
“Screw Michael. I’m out.” And without another word rushed out the door and hopped into her black Audi and
sped off down the drive.

Five minutes later, Michael pulled up the drive and came to the door. Jack opened it immediately.
“Good evening Mr. Bristow.” He said politely.
“Hello Michael.” His cold tone sent shivers down his spine. “I’m sorry, but my daughter just left.” Jack shook his head in disgust.
“When will she be back? I can wait…” He asked hopefully, having heard how beautiful Jack’s daughter was.
“I’m afraid I don’t know.” He sighed. “She usually never leaves without telling me, this is just a rare occasion…” He tried to reassure Michael.
“It’s no problem at all. Should we try again next week?”
“Yes, that’d be good. It was nice of you to come and I’ll make sure she is available next time. I’m very sorry about this.”
“No trouble at all.” Michael shook Jack’s hand and went back to his car.

“Hey baby.” Sydney greeted Julian, her boyfriend of three months.
“Hey honey. Glad you could make it.” He responded hugging her and leaving his hands lingering on her waist. “Ready?”
“As I’ll ever be.” She said gently grabbing the worn out, dirty clown shoes. “Do I really have to wear these?” She questioned wrinkling her nose.
“Unless you have your own.” He joked.
“Ewww!”
