Chap 4:- A New School
“Hey Fran!” Syd said when she rang Francie back.
“Hey, are you doing anything tomorrow?” she asked
“No, why? Do you want to come round?” Syd asked
“Yeah, I would love to!” they talked for about an hour and then decided that they to go to bed.
The next day Syd and Fran spent the day shopping and catching up on each other’s lives.
**First day of School**
Syd had fond everywhere she needed to go. At break she went to her locker and through everything in.
“hello, you are in my chemistry class aren’t you?” asked a voice from behind her.
“Yes I think I am.” She said with a fake smile on her face “go away now. I am trying to meet someone you freak!” she thought to herself.
“Let me introduce myself. I am Julian Sark, maybe you wanted to go out sometime?” he said getting closer to her.
“I’m kind of busy at the moment!” she said backing away but the lockers were in the way.
**Meanwhile**
Vaughn, Weiss, Will, Danny and Josh were all coming from their last lesson to there lockers.
They were turning the corner when Vaughn saw Sark talking to Syd. Vaughn stopped walking.
“Hey, guys.” And nodded in Sark’s direction.
“If he lays one finger on Syd, I am going to knock his lights out!” Weiss said getting angry.
“I’m first!” Vaughn said while watching what was going on.
Sark started to move towards Syd and put his hands on the lockers either side of her head.
They couldn’t stand it any more.
Syd was pinned against the lockers. Sark lips were getting closer to hers. Then they nearly touched her but he was pinned against the lockers next to her by Will.
“Syd? You ok?” Vaughn asked worried.
“Yeah. Thanks.” She replied.
“If you ever lay a finger on Syd again, believe me, you will regret it!” Weiss yelled at Sark and Sark walked away smiling.
“I hate him!” Josh said watching Sark walk away.
“You’re not the only one!” Danny said turning back to the group.
“We have to go to hockey.” He said about to start to walk away. “we’re meeting the girls there.” And they all went to the hockey rink.
**The Rink**
“Did Sark really hit on you?” Sandy asked. Syd nodded.
“Ewwww, oh Syd do you want to be a hockey cheerleader with us? Nadia is.” Fan asked.
“Yeah, I’d love to!” Syd said smiling.
“That’s the whole team!”
They watched the guys in there practice(note :- Vaughn is captain, Weiss is Goal keeper, Danny and Josh are defenders, Vaughn and will are attackers and there are some more players)
Fran saw Syd staring at Vaughn.
“You like him don’t you?” Syd jumped back into reality.
“What. Who? Knowing whom Fran meant.
“You know. He hasn’t told you has he?” Syd turned round to face Fran.
“Told me what?” She asked.
“It would be better coming from him!” she said turning round to the rest. Syd just starred at Vaughn for a moment. “What isn’t he telling me?” she asked herself.
**Later**
“Vaughn, I need to talk to you!” Syd said approaching him.
“What?” he asked.
Syd was about to say something when a voice behind her started to talk.
“Hey baby, miss me?”
