Ok this chapter is shorter. enjoy
Chap 6 :-
“Syd…”
“No Vaughn, I don’t want to hear it.” She yelled back at him. “You lied to me.” She started to cry again. “You of all people.”
“Syd, I didn’t…” she cut him off again.
“I told you I didn’t want to hear it.” It was still raining.
“You may not but I am going to say it anyway. She’s not my girlfriend!”
“What? Oh so now you have loads of people coming up to you and saying ‘hey baby, miss me’ do you?” trying to imitate Alice’s voice.
“Shut up and let me finish!” he yelled back at her. She turned round and sat back down in the place where she had been sitting even thought it was wet. “She isn’t my Girlfriend.” He said lowering his voice and sitting next to her.
“She was my girlfriend but I broke up with her before the summer. She said that she thought I dint mean it ‘cause I was sad and angry after the story I told her and she hasn’t seen me since.”
“You still lied to me.” She got up and ran off. She was angry and wasn’t about to forgive him even though he explained but he still didn’t tell her that he had a girlfriend.
He wanted to go after her but he knew that she needed to cool down for a bit.
**Three weeks later**
“Have you seen Syd?” Weiss asked Vaughn when he came out of his lesson.
“No. Actually I haven’t seen Syd for three weeks. She hasn’t spoken to me since I went after her.”
“Why isn’t she talking to you? Is it still the Alice thing?” Weiss asked not liking that his two best friends weren’t talking.
“Yeah.” Weiss went off to try and find Sydney and he had a plan.
Finally he found her.
“Hey Syd. Do you want to come to Joey’s Pizza with me and the rest?” He asked hoping she would say yes.
“Yeah.” She smiled. That was the first time Weiss had seen her smile since that day.
Weiss went off to find the rest of the guys.
“Hey guys, I have asked Syd if she wanted to come with to Joeys pizza this weekend.”
“Ok I don’t get you.” Francie said.
Weiss told them all the plan. They all agreed and the girls weren’t allowed to tell Syd anything.
They were all sitting there and they saw Vaughn over in the distance and then they saw Syd in the opposite direction. She looked at him and walked back in the other direction and didn’t look back.
“That’s why we have to do it!” Weiss said after seeing both of them.
