Angel

anyone see the season finale tonight? wow.

i never really liked angel much after the whole connor thing, but the last scene just stunned me. ALMOST the same level of sadness as the last scene in buffy's fifth season finale (with buffy sacrificing herself for dawn). angel did something similar by sacrificing his happiness for connor's. wow, that just totally got to me.

not too sure about this whole wolfram & hart thing though. although that scientist guy who was guiding fred was kinda cute. :D he was the vampire who had a heart to heart with buffy in one of the eps this season, right?

can't wait to see angel next week on buffy!!

and one question: i haven't been keeping up with this show consistently so what happened with fred and gunn? i'm assuming they broke up since gunn was totally hitting on his guide. but why and when did they break up?

I totally watched it tonight! I thought it was great. So many funny parts in it.

Thank goodness it looks like Connor's out of the picture. It was great what Angel did for him, and I'm glad he did it.

I do like the wolfram and hart thing though. I think it'll provide a whole new dimension to the show next season. And that's where I saw that guy from! At least someone knew.

And I was sooooo happy when Lilah brought out the report on Sunnydale. I'm like, yay! That means Angel's heading there soon! :D

As for the whole Gunn, Fred thing, I missed that too. I only started watching Angel again because Faith was in it. ;)

yeah, i hope connor's gone. it was a good way for him to go. although he'll probably still make appearances every now and then. but just as long as he's not always around, i'll be happy. ;)

and didn't you think wesley was so sweet tonight?? with him trying to burn lilah's contract?! i loved that scene!!

man, wesley rocks now. I still remember him from way back in the days on Buffy. The guy's great now.

And, yeah, I'm totally good with Connor making appearances. Just as long as it's only like maybe once. Twice I think I might be able to handle. ;)

I couldn't believe that ending! I did NOT see that coming. I'm glad Connor won't be around now; the kid always got on my nerves. But one question: When Angel went to see him, Fred said, "Who's Connor?" Meaning the gang now has no memory of him. But how can they remember the last two years without Connor in them, because he was essential to practically everything that's happened in the last 2 seasons: Darla's pregnancy and sacrifice, Holtz, Wesley's betrayal of the group, Angel being missing all summer, Cordy's pregnancy, Jasmine...All that stuff involved Connor. This is confusing.

And I'm not sure about Fred and Gunn. Apparently they broke up after Wes and Gunn got in that fight, but I don't remember an actual break-up scene. But Gunn did sleep with Gwen a few weeks ago, so I'm assuming Gunn/Fred is over. (What the heck was up with the panther, anyway?)

And the Wolfram and Hart thing could be interesting. It'll be something new, at least. Assuming "Angel" even comes back next year, that is.

yeah... the writers got some 'splainin to do. ;)

well, if JJ can explain two missing years in the future to us, I'm sure Joss can explain two years in the past. ;) I mean, maybe they remember the events actually happening, but not what started them, you know? Like, they just take for granted what their memories are giving them.

I'm also very happy Connor's out of the picture. Also after watching the season finale of alias, I was like "that was weak!" in regards to angel. I thought they were going to leave us with a very evil cliffy, but apparently not. Oh, well. I can't wait for next season! Like to see where this wolfram and hart thing goes. (I always like Lilah so I hope we stay with it) I can't wait to see angel on buffy!
