Career/Future Career

i could never teach, too routine and i would most likely be the worst teacher i cant tolerate ppl who will not listen to me and have very little patience!
 
I've always wanted to be a teacher. But it's only been recently, that I decided I'd really like to be a high school english teacher. I love helping people, especially in my favorite subject! But if I don't do that, i think I'd like to be a social worker. Quite different, but both involve working with people. Something I really want to do.
 
Now that I think about it, I kinda want to be one too (I think it's a social worker, I'm not sure...but whatever, I think you'll know what I mean!), although I can't stand kids, that may change later. I'd like to help kids out, ones that were abused or neglected or just treated badly in general, no one deserves to live through that.

I am applying to Univ. of Hawaii, Univ. of Oregon, and Central Michigan for next year. I want to become a physical therapist, mostly treating sports injuries.

sorry, it's just that when most kids are three they usually want to be something really out there like an astronaut or cowboy or something. certainly not an optometrist. you were a quirky child, weren't you? ;)

i wanted to be the president when i was little
 
i wanted to be the president(i dont want to deal with the US), then an actress (until i found out i'm really bad at acting), then a writer (too hard a field), then a CIA agent (but i'm not heavy enough!), then a lawyer (too much paperwork), and now i'm thinking of becomeing a psycologist or vet
 
i want to make lots of money ;) but i really have no idea what i exactly want to be (and i'm already a sophomore!!)....there are so many things you can do....so whenever anyone asks me what my future plans are I always tell them either that i am going to be a busdriver or that i am going to package cheese at a cheese factory. ^_^
 
CHEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!!! I love cheese!! One of my friends call me cheese and I call her nacho! LMAO!!!! My sister's going to be a pharmicist, that makes you a lot of money. Hey, you could always be a plumber! :lol:
 
I want to be a psychologist. I really want to help people, and I think that that would be the best way to do it. Everyone needs someone that can just be there for them, no matter what.

It only takes one person to make the difference between defeat and salvation. And I think that if I can be that one person for a single person out there... I've done my job on this Earth. And that's all that matters.
 
I wanna help people to but in a diff way. I really wanna research in medicine or genetics so in a way it is helping ppl in ht elong run. I wanna have some control in society you kno I think going into research is important b/c lots of ethical desicions have to be made and I have strong opinions plus I love science!!
 
Yeah, I guess I could help people in the long run, but I'd rather do something to help people now. And who knows, maybe someone I save from commiting suicide will cure cancer or something. You never know.
 
Yeah, but see, I also don't want some boring old job with no thrills, even if it WILL let me effect lives somehow. That's why I'd like to be an Operations Officer, or maybe join the Navy or something, the Army, whatever!
