~True Love~

Bella is a cheap whore, Nick is a jerk, Sydney is drunk and poor Michael doesn't really know what he's saying. Oh well, Michael's right! Sydney won't remember when she wakes up. She'll be too busy throwing up to remember.

Thanks for the PM.

Hey! Sorry for the late update. .
Hope you still enjoy!

True Love.

Sydney groaned as she tossed in bed.
Someone wrapped their arms around her tighter and pulling her closer.
Her whole body froze in surprise.
There was someone in her bed!
Sydney's eyes snapped open. . .
And then she groaned again as her head began to throb with pain.
"Sydney. . " Micheal mumbled sleepily.
He slowly opened his eyes and couldnt help but smile at the beautiful sight of waking up with her in his arms.
He could certainly get use to this. . .
" Micheal. . My head hurts. . " Sydney whimpered clutching onto him.
Micheal's eyes widened.
Oh No. . .He had forgotten. . .
'She must be having a nasty hangover' Micheal thought instantly feeling sorry for her.
He slowly eased up and reached up and felt around on his bedside table for asprin.
"Where. . .Where you going?" Sydney mumbled through a haze of pain.
"Just to get you a glass of water Syd. . .Im sorry." he apologised as he went to the bathroom.
He returned just seconds later with a glass of luke warm water.
He knew cold water would only aggravate the headache.
Her eyes still closed she gratefully leaned her head back as he fed her the asprin and then a few sips of water.
Micheal watched thinking that only Sydney Bristow could look so breathtakingly beautiful. . .
And still be suffering from a hangover.
"Thank you. . ." Sydney whispered and leaned against his chest for support.
"Youre welcome. . .I know what its like dealing with hangovers." Micheal confessed with a light chuckle.
Sydney finally opened her eyes looked up at him with a smile.
"Was anyone there to help you?" She asked only half teasingly.
He shook his head ruefully.
"No. . .I dont think my best friend Eric was capable of staying sober . .When im drunk." he laughed.
Sydney laughed lightly and closed her eyes again as she leaned into him.
A few moments passed then as her breathing stedied.
"So what do you wanna do today?" Sydney asked.
Micheal's brow furrowed as he pondered this.
"I should probably visit mom and Dad." he admitted.
Sydney nodded and swallowed a inexplicable lump in her throat.
"Then i guess i'll spend the day sight seeing." she spoke as brightly as she could muster up.
"Hey. . .Cant you come with me?" Micheal asked disappointed.
He really didnt want to spend the day before chrismas without her.
Sydney looked up at him her eyes locking with his.
"I dont know. . .I just thought you would to have to babysit me when youre with your parents." she said in a small voice.
Micheal's eyes widened.
"Oh come on Syd! I want you there! And im sure they would be thrilled to see you." he added.
Sydney smiled feeling a pleasant warmth course through her.
"Um. . Micheal. . ?" she began.
"Yeah. . .What is it?" he asked subconsciously drawing her closer as if to warm her slightly shivering body.
"Um. . .How did i get so drunk?" Sydney asked hesitantly.
Unbidden Micheal felt his heart sink.
'This must mean she didnt remember last night.' he thought sadly.
But then again. . .He was supposed to be relieved. . .
Right?
"Do you remember going to the bar. . .After dinner with Nick?" Micheal cringed at that name.
Sydney nodded.
"Yeah. . .I do . .But things get a little vague after that." she admitted.
Micheal shrugged trying to ignore his own emotions.
"Well. . . You got kinda drunk there. And then i brought you back here." he said.
Sydney was still staring at him.
"And. . ." she asked.
Micheal shrugged again.
"And that was that. . .You dont believe me?" he asked.
Sydney's pretty face flamed red with embarassment.
She ducked her head shyly as she spoke.
"No. . .I just wandered if maybe. . .You know. . ." her voice trailed off.
He cocked his head to one side and stared at her.
"Im not sure i know Sydney. . .
Care to enlighten me?" he asked enjoying the way she seemed so shy.
"I dunno. . .I just thought we might have slept together." Sydney muttered staring pointedly at the bed they had both woken up in.
Micheal sighed softly.
"Syd. . .I really wouldnt do that to you." he said sincerely.
He lifted up her chin and she stared at him her eyes full of emotions.
This moment between them was so. . .
So tender.
Sydney smiled softly.
"Yeah. . .I know." she whispered.
* * *
"Is this really where your parents live?" Sydney asked feeling her jaw drop in surprise.
Micheal shrugged waiting patiently as the fancy wrought iron gates slowly swung open.
"Its really not that fancy Sydney." he said as he drove in and expertly parked the car behind a cute pond.
"Cant believe you actually grew up here!" she muttered as he got out of the car.
She was about to open her car door when he quickly walked to her side of the car and opened it.
She smiled up at him as she got out.
"You know im not exactly diabled." she laughed inwardly pleased at his manners.
Micheal raised his brows.
"Of that im sure." he joined her laughing.
She admired the house as they walked up to the front door.
It was typically french style.
Old fashioned but very elegant with cute pot plants with colourful flowers hanging from the ornate balconies.
The door opened and the housekeeper ushered them in.
"Hi Mary. How are you." Micheal greeted her in fluent french.
Sydney glanced at him in surprise.
She didnt realise that he had such a great french accent.
Not to mention how gorgeous he looked when he spoke it.
Sydney's gaze whipped up as a booming voice filled the hallway.
"Micheal! My son! How are you?" Sydney watched as a grinning Micheal embraced his father in a bear hug.
There was a old smiling woman standing next to them.
"Finally! It was worth the wait!" the woman who Sydney presumed was Micheal's mother cried out as she stared at Sydney.
"You have finally brought a beautiful woman home son." She beamed at Sydney.
Sydney ducked her head slightly embarrassed.
Micheal broke his embrace and tried to help her.
"Mom! She's just a friend." he protested.
The last thing he wanted to do was put pressure on Sydney.
Micheal's mom just ignored Her son and winked at Sydney.
"Oh dont worry. You must be very special for Micheal to bring you home." she laughed merrily.
As they walked into the lounge Micheal leaned forward and whispered in her ear making her shiver plesantly.
"Im afraid youre in for quite a day. . . ."
