Hey you guys my story is coming to a end and I want to thank you for all the feed back and I really had fun writing it so I hope you guys enjoyed it.
Chapter 18: The Night or The Dinner
After Sydney did a few things around the house and then went for a
run she went home and took a shower to get ready for dinner. Back at Vaughn’s
he was getting ready too. Sydney had called him earlier and asked him if he
would pick her up at seven because she had made reservations for eight that
night he agreed and told her he would be there so be ready she told him alright
and hung up. After the phone call she walked into her bedroom to put on the skirt
and the blouse she had picked out earlier that day. She curled her hair at the
ends and styled it then did her make up. She put some blush powder eye make
up mascara and lip-gloss her favorite a pale pink color. While back at Vaughn’s
he was getting ready as well he put on black pants a white button down shirt and a
black jacket. He got ready to walk out when he realized he hadn’t shaved and
remember how Sydney hated his rough beard when he hadn’t shaved in a while
so he went back to the bathroom and pulled out a razor and got started. Sydney
was sitting in her room doing the finishing touches when she saw Vaughn’s
headlights pull in. She hurried herself as he came to the door. She heard the
doorbell ring and yelled come in as loud as she could. He walked in and walked
back to her bedroom he saw her sitting on a small stool in front of a mirror
“Hey” he said as he walked over to kiss her.
“ Hi how are you,” she asked
“Fine but its time to go are you ready”
“Yes just let me finish this one thing I and I will be right there”
“ Ok I am going to be out in the car” he said as he leaned and gave
her one last kiss before he walked outside.
Sydney got up off the stool and walked outside and around to the other
side of the car Vaughn who was in the driver’s seat leaned over and opened the
door for her.
“Hop in”
“Ok” she said “ Are you ready for the time of your life?”
“Ya, lets go”
Fifteen minutes later they drove into a small parking lot that was well lit
and got a parking place pretty close to the door. As they pulled into the parking
spot Vaughn jumped out of the car and went around the car to open the door for
Sydney.
“Thank you” she said as she climbed out of the car. When he got her
to lip level and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her.
“ Ok lets go in,” she said as she pulled away
As they walked in Sydney a Asian man walked up to her to ask how
many she replied with two and he told her that it would be about a twenty minute
wait she told that was fine and that they would be at the bar. He responded with
ok we will call table number six when we are ready for you. Vaughn and Sydney
then walked over to the bar and sat down to two vacant seats on the right side of
the bar. Vaughn ordered two drinks for their wait and they talked for their
remaining about work and what was going to happen for the remainder of the
night.
