cartilage piercings

i need hlep with this question. while i was in the shower, i remembered that the lady that pierced my ear told me not to get shampoo n conditioner in my ear. i try not to, but its hard. any advice?

I never bothered with that, cos when you thnk about it, it's virtually impossbile ^_^ , so just go with the flow and you'll be fine, or I guess you could stick a plaster over it, but......

i have to cover my earring with tape when i play basketball. it looks really funny, but its better than having part of my ear torn off right?! ^_^

I have a friend who had her cartilage pierced and she had to be really careful. It could get infected and stuff. So be careful with softball, just in case the ball hits your mask or something.

you'll be fine with the shampoo. I never worried about that when I got mine done. And in the beginning I might tape it up when you play sports too, because you never know what could happen, and it'll hurt a lot more getting it hit now, than later after it has fully healed.
