I'm up to date on the series, but my preference is Tom Baker. If a show was good enough then, then its good enuff now. Now Mr. Kevin, I have a theme song that reminds me of you, its all in good taste of course. As much as I agree that Tom Baker will always be "Doctor Who", you really need to start watching some shows that are newer than from 40 years ago!
Ouch! Not a Tom Baker fan, huh? lol poor Tom.I first heard of Dr. Who around 1970 from a library book about sci fi in movies/tv. they had a picture of Peter Cushing from one of the Dr. Who movies.
I finally got to see the Doctor in early 80s. first one was 'Genesis of the Daleks'. I watched half of it wondering who the curly hair doofus was.
but of course I came to like him. 'Talons of Weng Chiang' might be my all time fave.
What does that mean translated into English?
You do realize of course that you just made me do a Google search to see what "PoM" was Australian slang for, right? What does that mean translated into English?

Nope, not hating it. Just very, very busy the past few months dealing with serious medical issue cross country and funeral stuff. 2019 will see some posts from me.Where is the topic on this? Judging from the lack of conversation on it...I'm gonna guess people are hating it? Well I love it, and if you do too, come and chat about it here!

In addition to Doctor Who, HBO Max has licensed 700 episodes of landmark BBC series including Ricky Gervais’ The Office, Top Gear, Luther and The Honorable Woman.
The new Doctor Who left Netflix in the US a few years ago and moved to Amazon Prime. Netflix has been allowing old series and movies to leave for some time now. I usually DVR the new shows off of BBC America and fast forward through the commercials so I may not have noticed this otherwise... the streaming rights for Who are switching to HBO Max. Yes, another streaming service for people to deal with as shows continue to get scattered across about a dozen competing streaming services.

The new Disney streaming service, resulting in them pulling the Disney/Marvel/Star Wars titles, isn't helping Netflix either. I hadn't seen Captain Marvel yet, it won't be on Netflix. Now Disney has confirmed that all of the Netflix Marvel shows are considered non-canon and that and canon versions would be any reboots on their own service. That's a shame because there was some quality stuff in there. The new Doctor Who left Netflix in the US a few years ago and moved to Amazon Prime. We have a Prime account so I watch the Amazon stuff on my X-Box. Compared to the Netflix app I find the Amazon app excruciatingly awful to use. Except for their high profile stuff that they hype I'm likely missing most of the stuff on there.because Amazon wants to do the same, in that they’d rather have people go to their streaming service for originals.
And you just answered a question I was going to ask. I've seem commercials for BritBox but, until yourself, have never come across a single person who actually used it.Now if BritBox could add Blake’s 7...
