I just wrote this now, its unbeta'd, its just my feelings, ive never posted in here before, most of my stuff is alias romance.

The things I know.

I know that you always tell me that you love me.
But you never show me.
I know that you whisper it in my ear
When you know that’s all I need to run back to you
But this time I won’t.
You’re not what I need.
You’re not what I feel.
You don’t make me whole.
You don’t make me love.
You just make me hurt.

I know that all those nights.
You used to whisper.
Sweet words in my ears.
Those words took away all my fears.
But now,
Those words don’t make me smile.
Don’t make me laugh.

I know that those roses you gave me
Those photo’s we took
They easily fade, they die
Just like the way my love for you
Used to light up my eyes
My eyes will never shine
Never glitter
Never feel
Not the way you used to make them

I know that I hate you now
But I love you
And I need you
But I won’t go back
I won’t open up
Not to you

Because the things I know
Protect me now
From ever letting my heart
Open like that again

And those are the things I know.
