I felt him hug me close to his chest. I looked up at him.
“I don’t want to die Mike. I don’t want to be like those kids. I can’t leave my sister.”
Mike looked into my eyes. I felt myself melting into those green pools of concern staring at me.
“But I don’t know how to change. Everyone I know…all my friends… they would make fun of me for not being cool anymore. Even my parents…they go out and party with their friends so much…they don’t even know half the things I do.”
“Sydney…I can help you. I’m here for you. I’ll be your friend,’ Mike said to me.
“But you judge me too.”

Aw, poor Sydney. Michael doesn't mean to judge, it's just human nature to judge upon first sight. That's why first impressions mean everything. But don't worry, he's totally falling for you! ;)

For the record, I hate Kyle. Like, really hate and despise him with a firey passion. May he burn in hell. I don't like him. He's devil spawn. :angry:


I sat here with a smile for a minute. I had a date with Mike! Well, a pseudo date with Mike. Actually, it was more like a date in MY mind. He probably just thinks he is helping me. Whatever it was, I’d get to spend the whole afternoon with Mike. I had to go tell my mom I’d be late.

you are funny. thanks for reviewing. don't worry if you can't review every time.. and that goes for everyone. I am writing for you guys but i am also writing for myself. as long as people tell me every so often they are enjoying it, i'm cool. and same goes for if something really sucks. i'd want to know. just like tracey told me she'd rather read my other story rather than a teenager angst one. HAHAH.. j/k tres...

first of all, i love nadia :love: she's hysterical!! you write young kids like nobody's business. you know i love smart kids, and while nadia isn't quite at jolie's IQ level, she sees and understands everything! and i like that syd saw nadia as ending up like mike if something happened to her.

and i'm not quoting anything that slimeball kyle had to say, because, let's face it, kyle. you were just a plot device and we'll never see you again. go away. try to keep your dignity, if you had any to begin with... is it just me, or does anyone else picture kyle like an 8th grade version of kyle from south park? hat with flaps and everything? ok, it is just me. i'll shut up now.

I'm so glad that she's letting Vaughn help her and that she's changeing. And somehow I don't think that Jack and Irina will have a problem with her spending so much time with Vaughn but I think that Kyle will. Thanks for the PM and please you have to update soon again coz I definitely can't wait for more.

kyle in my mind has floppy blond hair and dresses in baggy jeans. i don't know why i am picturing him that way but i am...
i don't know why i write little kids the way i write them... but i am enjoy it that way and i'm glad you do!

and PLEASE don't feel like you have to rush with the other story b/c i said i wasn't posting anytime soon!! i just sent a bazillion pages for you to read for fun b/c it was your birthday!! :D
