(Jack and Vaughn just landing in Taipei)
Just as Vaughn and Jack were heading off the plane Jack remembered something. He ran back in and grabbed the picture of him and little Sydney on his shouldiers.
"Ok we have everything. Now all we need is to get in and get Sydney." Said Vaughn as they headed toward the veichle waiting for them. Vaughn got in and sat his stuff on the floor. Jack followed only he opened the map and studied it again. "Vaughn I use to undermind you. I use to think you were a pompous agent who had a crush on my daughter, but now I see you a caring and couragious person,and i respect you for that." Vaughn looked up from twittleing with his fingers. "Thank you Jack. That means alot."
As they came to a stop at the warehouse the car pulled up about a couple blocks away so they wouldn't be seen.
Jack and Vaughn got out of the car and headed toward a bunch of bushes there they scrunched down and started whisperinging
"Ok I am going to go in through the shaft at the west entrace"
He pointed to the ventilation shaft in front of them.
Jack grabbed a device out of his duffle bag. He opened it up and started typing in a bunch of codes.
"I almost got it" Said Jack as he kept typing in the codes.
Then poped up an 4 different screens.
"These are the four different passages." Jack pointed to the third passage. "Hey vaughn." Vaughn looked over at the screen. " Theres Sydney." Said Jack as he zoomed in. Vaughn looked closer. "What level is that in?"
Jack looked at the top of the screen.
"Thats the Third level second door to the right. So in the shaft it would be the first drop off when you get in the shaft"
Vaughn looked at Sydney on the screen. Her hands tyed and her legs chained together. A sudden rage came apon him.
"Ok I am ready to go in."

(Back with Sydney in the storage room)
Sydney tryed getting the ropes loose millions of times,but they were tyed so tight that they were making her hands bleed. Then all of a sudden the lights burned out. She thought to her self: "O great not only am I stuck in a cold and dengy room but now I cant even see the cold and dengy room."
Syd herd a noise coming from the Vent.
She contiplated on who it could be but no one came to mind.
Then she herd a loud crash from the vent. The door of the vent had been busted off. Then a calm and soothing voice relaxed her ears.
"Sydney is that you?"
"Yea, It's me what are you doing here? How did you find me?
"We can talk later lets jus-"
"Vaughn,Vaughn you still there?
A moment of silence rushed the storage room.
and then the light turned on.
 
I was going to write the next Chapter, but i wanted to know if all ay guys want me to or not. So feed back would be nice.

I think this would be Ch.5? anyway.

A million thoughts rushed through Sydney's brain when that light switched on.
She looked franticualy around the room for a sign of vaughn being there but nothing. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw a figure come toward her.
When her face was fully turned she saw that it was vaughn.
"Why didn't you answer me?"
"I am sorry Sydney I had to find a light bulb so I could see. Hey and look what i stumbled apon." Vaughn lifted screw driver and Knife. "For some reason Screw drivers are always getting me out of situations" Said Vaughn as he broke the chains from Sydney's ankles. As he use the knife to cut the rope off her hands Sydney looked at him with total compassion. Vaughn looked up and smirked.
"Why are you looking at me strange. Am I doing something wrong?" She Snapped out of her daze.
"O, No ....no nothing wrong it's just this is like the millionth time you saved my butt.
Vaughn cut the last rope and looked at her.
"Thank me when we get out of here ok. We really got to get out of here before Sark or one of his men come in and find us." He looked over at Sydney.
" You go ahead and get in the Vent first ok"
Sydney looked at the shaft and then with a hint of worry on her face looked at Vaughn.
"Um, Vaughn We cant go through the vent." Vaughn looked at the Vent which had now had A foggy gas coming out of it. He covered his mouth and so did Sydney. "We're going to have to go through the door and pray that one of Sark's men dont see us." And When they started to motion toward the door the earpiece in Vaughn's ear started to make noise.
"Vaughn, Vaughn do you copy?" It was Jack.
Vaughn adjusted his earpiece.
"Jack this is Vaughn I got Syd,but the vent is closed off with Carbon monoxide. Whats going on.?"
"Vaughn You got to listen to me.When you freed Syd It set some kind of alarm off. They know that you guys are in there. You have got to find away out and I mean now."
Vaughn looked over at Syd who was searching the walls for a door or something to help them.
"Yea,Jack do you see anything on the camera. Anyway we can escape?"
Jack looked at the Surveilance but at everyone there were at least 5 Guards.
"I dont see a thing,but let me keep trying."
Vaughn looked over at the vent that was now almost out of sight.
"Vaughn! I think I found something." Said Sydney as she moved a painting and opened a latch.
Vaughn gave a slight grin and moved over to where Sydney was.
"Jack we found away out of the room we'll be there as soon as we can."
"Ok, Tell Syd I am glad she is ok. I'll figure out away to get the gaurd off your back. Ok I am going radio silent in...5..4..3..2.."
Jack was off the radio. Vaughn grabbed some supplys and him and Syd made there way through the passage having no idea what laid ahead.
 
Ch.6
(Will and Syd at the house)
Francie ploped down on the couch. She was so shoken she could barely sit still. Will walked over by her with a blanket and an ice pack." Would you hold still. Your bleeding." Said Will as he wiped the blood from the scratch on her head. "I'll be right back with the Hot cocoa." He got up and started walking to the kitchen. Francie turned and looked at him. "You wait right th-there Will. What the he-hell went on back th-there." Said Francie trying to regain her breath. Will turned around with a hint of worry in his face,but not enough for Francie to see. He looked at her with nothing to say. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't tell her the truth. He refused to bring her into that kind of life. "Francie What happened back there was an accident. I talked to the man who was driving. he was drunk,but he apoligized ok." Will looked at Francie hoping that she would believe that terrible story he just told her. Francie looked into his eyes to find the truth. "Will I was knocked on the head not knocked out. I remember most of it. I do remember hearing gun shots and you helping me out of there. I dont remember you talking to that driver and working it out." Will looked down and thought to himself. "O felgercarb, what do I do know. I wish Syd was here she is so much better at telling lies then me. I have got to think of something." Will looked up at Francie and grinned. "Francie I am not sure what it was, but i am sure we're safe now ok."
"Francie looked at him,grinned and put the ice pack on her head. "Yea, well i know where I am not eating anymore." Will grinned knowing she wasn't going to ask anymore Questions. Will was getting ready to go to the kitchen when all of a sudden the door bell rang.

(Back with Sydney and Vaughn)
"Ok,do you know the way out?" Said Syd as her and Vaughn walked down the long,dark hallway. Vaughn looked straight ahead and saw some one coming. Vaughn grabbed Sydney and hid behind the wall. Sydney felt comfort having Vaughn's arm around her. She smiled. Vaughn looked back and the man was coming closer. He whispered in Sydney's ear. "Syd I need you to take that guy out, and Ill make sure no others are coming." Sydney nodded. "Gotcha" She said. Then turned the corner and started kicking his butt. Vaughn ran past them to make sure it was clear. When he got back to where Sydney was the man was already on the floor. Syd bent over and grabbed a key ring. "I think I found our way out" She flung the keys at Vaughn. "Yea, and i found the door." He grinned and pointed down the end of the long and dark hallway. "Good then we-" Before sydney could finish her sentence a red light above them started to flash and a siren came on. Vaughn tryed getting ahold of Jack but the radio was down. Then Sydney got wide eyed.
"Vaughn."
"What?"
"That siren means someone has escaped. That someone is me."
Vaughn looked at her not knowing why she looked so panicked.
"Yea but Syd we're almost out. They wont find us."
Sydney looked at him with total fear.
"No, Vaughn that siren also mean that this place is going to self destruct. I know I had many of them."
Vaughn looked at her He knew he had to get her out of there. his love for her was so great that he didn't care about himself. "Come on." He moved his hand in the direction to the door. Sydney walked over the man lying there and grabbed Vaughns hand she thought to her self. "I am not letting him run behind me this time." They ran as fast as they could to the door that was so close to them yet so far away.
They were only a few feet away. When they herd a noise Behind them. Fire started engulfing where they were only a few minutes ago. They turned back and kept running. With the fire right behind them Vaughn opened the door with the key and grabbed syd and made a run for it. They got out side and before they could turn around the place exploded throwing Vaughn and Sydney to there backs on the ground Vaughn toppled on top of Sydney. For a Second they just stared at eachother.
"Vaughn"
Vaughn Looked at her and had an hint of a grin.
"What."
"Vaughn I cant breath."
Vaughn snapped out of the daze and realized he was on top of Sydney.
"O...o Syd I am sorry."
Sydney got up and brushed the grass of her back.
She grinned. "It's ok" She looked at him and for a second just wanted to kiss him. She thought to her self: "What I just was to kiss him once I mean as a thank you kiss. Not like were breaking protocal or anything. I would be thanking him."
Then she put her arms around him and kissed him.
At first Vaughn was shocked,but a happy shocked.
Sydney pulled away and smiled. "I was saying thank you."
:eek: Vaughn stood there for a second and just stared at her. Then he smiled and and pulled her close. He kissed her then pulled away.
"I was saying thank you."
She looked at him and grinned "Well your welcome."
They stared at eachother for a minute then saw a Van come up from behind the bushes.
"Get in." Said the driver.
Sydney looked inside of the drivers side.
"Dad, What took you so long?" Said Sydney as she and vaughn got into the Van.
"Sorry I had to get a couple Gaurds off my back."
Said jack as they drove away.
When they were half way to the plane Sydney looked at her Father and blushed.
"Uh... Dad how long did you see us when you were driving up.?"
Jack looked at Vaughn who was also blushing :blush:
And grinned to himself.
"Not long." He said as He got on to the plane. Sydney and Vaughn looked at eachother and grinned as they got on the plane.
 
Keep posting more soon, I like the fic. But you kinda scared me inside the building...I was afraid you were going to kill Vaughn for some odd reason!
 
(Will and Francie at the house)
"Ding,dong."
Will looked over at the door. Then He looked over at Francie. He only prayed that that was Sydney and she had her hands full, but something inside him made him think other wise. As he walked over to the door he thought of a million people who could be at that door. His eyes full of worry.
"Ding,Dong."
"Will are you going to get the door." Francie hollared from the Living room.
Will didnt reply.
He looked through the peephole in the door.

(Jack,Vaughn and Sydney landing in L.A)
"Ok Dad I'll see you tomorrow"Said Sydney as she Hugged her Dad goodbye. "Dont forget that we have a meeting with sloan at 8 ok." Sydney sighed. "Yea how could I forget." She grinned then watched her dad get into his car.
Vaughn with his duffle bag over his shouldier walked over to Sydney grinning.
"That was some trip wasnt it" He said. trying to make decent conversation.
"Yea it sure was."
There was a mintue of silence between the two them. Then Sydney said something.
"You know you twittle your thumbs alot"
Vaughn looked down at his thumbs which were,by habit, twittling.
"O,yea it's a habit I have had since I was a kid."
They Just stood there until Sydney's cell phone rang.
"Hello." She answered cheerfully.
"Syd, is that you?" Answered Will.
"Yea, Will It's me." Sydney looked up at Vaughn Who already had a glimpse of jealiousy in his eyes by just hearing his name.
She grinned and kept talking to Will.
"Syd you gotta get home now." He said In fast pace tone.
Sydney's grin turned into a straight face.
"Whats wrong?"
" There is someone at the door and I dont know who it is."
Sydney got a confused look on her face.
"Um. Will how is that a problem?"
"Well you see earlier I saw that dude that shot me ya know the one that looks like a British Backstreet boy reject.
Well anyway he saw me And in the parking lot we got chased by a van."
Sydney got a look of panic on her face.
" O....No are you ok? Is Francie ok?"
"Sydney we can talk later you just need to get over here now. I am not opening that door until you get here."
"Ok I'll be right there."
Sydney ended the call.
"Whats the matter?" Vaughn said with a hint of worry in his eyes.
"Will and Francie got attacked earlier, and now someone is at the door."
"Welll I better go with incase it's one of Sarks men."
Sydney looked at Vaughn.
"Ok but dont drive up too close behind me. Remember we cant be seen together. Vaughn looked a little annoyed by what she
just said. "Yea, I know." But what he thought to himself was, "I hate Protocal!!!!!!! To Hell with Protocal!" but he kept that inside and got in his car.
 
Ch.7
"As Sydney drove the down the street she turned on the radio but nothing was on.

"hmmm, This is a first."
She said as she Turned the radio off.
She looked in the rear view mirror, and adjusted it. for some odd reason the stupid thing wouldn't stay in place. As she reached her block she opened her purse and got her cell phone out. She dialed vaughn's number. His voice came.
"Hello, Joeys pizza." He said in playful tone knowing it was her.

"Hi, I am getting on my block where you at?"

" I am close enough to see you but far enough not to get caught."

"Ok Well I am there."
"Ok So who do you see"
Sydney Squinted her eyes then gasped.

(Back with Will and Francie in the house)

"Ding,Dong"
Will kept his cell phone in his hand and his eye through the hole.
Francie came out with the Ice pack on her head and a confused look on her face.

"Will are you def. The bell has been ringing for more then 5 minutes.

If your not going to open it the-"
Will put his hand Over her mouth and motion his finger on his lips for her to keep quite. She looked at him her eye brows arched inward.She started saying something but all you could hear was muffled sound.
Will looked through the peephole at the man standing there patiently. Then in the Back ground he saw Sydney in her car.

(Back with Sydney in her car.)

"Sydney who is it? Syd?"
She was dazed at who it was.

"Vaughn, It's Kendall. Why would he be at my house. He knows it would be a danger if he was seen."

Then Vaughn remembered How him and Jack went against.
"Sydney, It's a long story I'll tell you at the warehouse."

"Ok, Well I guess then we will be going over their now." She said in a discplein toned voice. She was very annoyed at the fact that Kendall of all poeple would do a thing like that. To even bring her home into that made her mad.

"I just have to call Will and tell him it's ok to let him in."

"Yea, ok" Said vaughn then He hung up on her.
Syd Kind of Shocked he didn't say bye. Dialed the house number.

(Back with Will and Francie)
"Ring,ring"
Will picked up the phone.

"Hello"
"Will that guy at the front door is not there to hurt you. just open the door and see what he wants. And if he asks where I am just tell him ya dont know."

"Um, ok Well I feel like an idiot know so I'm gunna go"

"Ok, I'll be back shortly.Bye
"Bye"
"Who was that? " Francie asked Patiently waiting for Will to open the door.
"O just syd saying she was on her way home."

"O, Well good.Dangit Will "
She pushed pass him and opened the door.

"Hi"
"Hello, Would Ms. Bristow happen to be home at the moment? WIll cut in
"No,no She isn't matter of fact we dont know where she is."
Will, Sweaty and Nervious,moved Francie out of the way and adjusted his collar.
Kendall looked at him wierd.
"Ok will if she happens to be back soon please tell her I dropped by."

"Yea, sure thing"
Then Kendall walked away and Will Shut the door.

"Will your acting strange. well anyway I am going to head to bed." Said Francie as she started walking towad her room.
Will adjusted his collar again and sighed a nervious laugh. He had no Idea how Syd did it.
He turned the livingroom light off and headed toward his room.

( Sydney and Vaughn at the warehouse)
"So What was so important?" Asked Sydney as she sat on the crate patiently waiting for him to speak.

"Well, When we got you out of that place we kind of went against Kendall's orders. So I have a good feeling thats why he was there."
"You what? Thats so sweet. It's not everyday you have a C.I.A agent and your Father save you from being exposed as a double agent for the C.I.A." She said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Wont you be in trouble?"
"Probally. For awhile that is. He'll get over it. I mean we got you out didn't we."
"Yea thats true." She grinned but he didn't grin back.
She could tell there was something wrong. She could always tell she knew him so good.

"Whats the matter?"
She said as she sat next to him and a bigger crate.
He looked over at her then stared at his feet.
"Sydney, Your the one person I Cant tell.It's personal matters."
She looked at Him the stared at her feet. Making figures in the dust. "You know you can tell me anything" She said as she grinned hoping he would grin back,but instead he got up and started pacing. He stoped and looked at her.

"Sydney, When I got off the plane from Taipei I got a phone call from my ex girl friend Alice. Do you remember her?"
Syd Nodded
"Ok, well anyway you know how we broke up to months ago because she cheated on me. Well She called me tonight and said she was pregnat. And there is an 50 percent chance that baby is mine. Ever since I got that call I have been A nervious wreck."

He waited for her to say something, but she just sat there, because of corse that was alot of informaton to take in all at once. What Sydney really wanted to do was to go over to Alice's house and confront her for lying about having a baby then kick the felgercarb outa her for stealing Vaughn So many months ago. But being the light hearted person she was She stood up Straightened her skirt and picked up her purse.

"So,shes pregnat. Thats nice. How will you know if it's your?" She then regreted saying that.
She looked at her watched and pretended that it was getting pretty late. "O,well look at the time I really have got to go."
Vaughn looked at her and his forehead wrinkled. He looked at her with the same eyes he looked at her with the first day he met her.
"Well tomorrow she is going into the Doctor. He too also wanted to get off that subject. "Yea it's getting pretty late."
Sydney Smiled the best she could and turned around. She didn't look back even though she knew he was watching her leave. She opened the chained gate And Squeezed through. She wanted so badly to turn around,but she didn't want him to see her cry. So she kept walking forward.

The Ch after my last ch.

(Next morning at sydney's house)

"Good Morning." Said Francie to the grumpy,big haired thing that came out of the bathroom.
"Geese Syd you look like you got attacked by by some foreign creature." Said Will as he poped the toast in the toaster. Sydney sat down at the table and put her hand over her face.
"I am not feeling to good this morning." She said with her face in her arm.
"Well you look like you've been crying all night."
Sydney raised her head thinking to her salf. "Is it that ovbious!"

"I've had a hard night thats all."
"So what took you so long at the office last night?" Francie said changing the subject.

"I had to deal with some papers my boss gave me. Then I got some terrible news from one of my colleagues. So then I had to stay late. So then I finally just came home."
Francie looked at her. "Yea you forgot our dinner date." She said In a teasing voice.
"O francie I am so sorry."
"It's ok." She said Grabbing the toast out of Will's hand and taking a bite. Will looked at her then went to the toaster to make another piece.
"So what are your plans today?" asded Francie to Sydney.
"O Right now I am going to find away to not look so hidious. Then I am going to ask you and Will if you want to go bowling." She said Trying to show a grin but not suceeding under that ball of hair.
And men say we have it so easy. Phust!
Francie looked at her and then turned to will.
"Will ya wanna go bowling?"
He looked at her stopping in mid bite.
"Yea as long as I dont get my finger stuck in that stupid hole."
Francie looked at him pethedicly
"The only reason you got your finger stuck was because you used a kids ball."
"Well hey how was I suppose to know. They look all alike."
Knowing she wasnt going to win this one Francie turned back to Syd. "Ok well I have to go and do some erans in a little bit but I'll Be back ok. You dont go anywhere."
"Ok. I promise." Said sydney. She got up and headed to the bathroom.
"O Syd." said will
"What?" She turned around
"See if you can do anything about your hair. it's freaking me out." She gave him a teasing glare then walked into the bathroom. Francie looked at him and grinned then threw her toast at him.
"What!"
"You are such a guy." Said Francie. Then she too walked out of the Kithcen.

(Back with Vaughn At his office.)
Wiess walked in.
"Vaughn you really need to take a break." He said as he sat down .
"Yea that would help, but right now I want to get all these papers organized. Said Vaughn in a Get-out-of-my-office tone
Weiss took the message then smiled.
"Yea well when your done I am kidnapping you."
He started walking to the door ,but Alice walked in. Weiss looked at VAughn and Hurried to the door. What ever was going to happen he didn't want to be there.
"Vaughn, I need to talk to you she said as she sat down."
"What is it." he said sitting down his papers.
She looked at him then looked at her feet.

"You know how I said I was Pregnat. Well I went to the Doctor today and I found out who the father was."

Vaughn looked at her with full attention.
she continued.

"The baby isn't yours."
He sighed a sigh of relief and got up.
"Where are you going?" she said as she watched him grab his coat. He smiled. "I am going to tell someone the news."
He walked out the door with a grin on his face.

(Back with Sydney at her house )

"Ding,dong"
"Will could you get that!" Hollared Sydney from the Bathroom. She had a curler in her mouth and A blow dryer in the other. She was in no mood to get the door.
"Yea." He said walking past her in the bathroom. He opened the door and to his surprise it was vaughn.
"Hey." said Will awkwardly.
"Hey." Said Vaughn feeling even more awkward.
"Is Sydney home?"
"Yea she is. let me get her. Just go ahead and come in" Will left Vaughn at the front door and walked over to the bathroom.
"Syd "he said walking into the bathroom. "Vaughns here and he Wants to talk to you."
She looked at him and droped the curler out of her mouth.
"Um, ok tell him I'll be there in a little bit." Will nodded and walked out to the living room."
Sydney put the Curlers down and tryed at her hardest efforts to untangle her self from the blow dryer cord. "Stupid cord she said Hurling it across the bathroom knocking down a duck figuring. She smiled watching the curling iron suffer as it sat there dangling off the toilet. She walked out of the bathroom and towards vaughn.
"Syd I know you probally dont want to hear this, But Alice isnt having my Baby." He looked at her waiting for her to reply.
Syd looked at him with a grin of relief. Inside you was soo happy. "Thats good news."she said With a real grin this time not a fake one.
"Yea, I know I am happy. Well I've got to go before i get caught." He said heading to the door. "I'll see you tonight."
"Yea."she said walking behind him so she could lock the door. When he was finally gone. She grinned and walked back into the Bathroom.

Things were only just beginning.
