I know that you do but everytime someone *cough* Jo *cough* points it out it kinda makes me feel like DAMN IT! If I notice it on my own I'm all like o well.
sorry   I just thought it'd be easier reading for some people... what you could do is get a beta to look over your work and read through it or whatever to check for mistakes... just a suggestion..

Jo, it's okay. I just uh, well, let's just say I have this thing about perfection sometimes. Thanks for the suggestion but it's okay. I'll be fine.

Chapter 4

Sydney thought to herself, "I have to find Michael."[/I]

Sydney had already dropped Rachel off at Jack and Irina's place and had just walked into the headquarters. Sydney ran up to where Marshall and Weiss were and asked, "What'd I miss?"

"Nothing much," Weiss said, "we're trying to track Sark because we think we're close - we might not need a search party."

"WAIT!" Marshall said, "We got him!"

"Where?" Syd asked.

"Looks like somewhere in the Amazon. I haven't pinpointed the exact location but I'm working on it."

"Alright," said Weiss, "you keep working on it while I inform Kendall and get together a resue team.

Sydney, since there is no need of a search party I'll make sure you'll join that rescue team."

"Alright," Syd said.

****

Meanwhile, at the place in the Amazon...............

"Mr. Vaughn, I will ask you again. Where is Sydney Bristow?" said Sark.

"I don't know," said Vaughn in pain.

"Really Mr. Vaughn? Well, I know that you've made contact with her because I know that you were the first person to know that after the two years she was missing who took her."

"I haven't made contact with her recently Mr. Sark plus, that was seven years ago."

"You are most likely the closest person to her so I will ask again. Where is she?"

"I DON'T KNOW YOU SOB!!!" Vaughn spat on his face. Sark wiped his face and acted as if he didn't care.

"Alright then. I'll come back and ask again later.

Guards, beat him."

"Great," Vaughn thought, "I wonder how long this is gonne take."

****
"Five, four, three, two, one.... let's go!" Sydney whispered as she and the rest of the rescue team came out of the black CIA vans. It had been hours since they found out where Vaughn was and they were finally there. "Jones, Baker, Hanson, you go to that way," Sydney said, "Petersen, Wallace and I will take the other way." The other agents nodded their heads in agreement.

Sydney and the other agents crept around the side of the building and snuck in. Sydney watched very carefully. She had to be more careful than the others since Sark was looking for her. She was the only one out of the whole team who was wearing a ski mask.

"AHHHHHH!!!!" It was someone screaming in pain. But who? Vaughn. It was him. Sark decided to interrogate him. Vaughn was being shocked.

"Let's head towards that noise," Syd said.

She and the other agents crept towards the noise. There was a small hole in the wall. She looked through. There was Vaughn. "He's in here,'' she said.

Sydney was feeling kind of odd. It wasn't just some other agent in there - it was her husband. She couldn't see him suffer like that. "Okay," she said to the other two agents, "On three. One, two, three!"

She and the others had knocked down the doors. Sark and the guards looked back to see who it was. They started shooting. Syd and the other agents took cover behind some crates. They kept shooting back.

Plop, plop, plop

The three guards were down. All that was left was Sark. He started running towards the other exit but then the other group of agents came in through that side. Sark dove behind some crates and dissapeard. When the other agents went to where he dove they couldn't find him. There must of been some secret trap door or something.

The agents helped Vaughn escape and they arrived home safely. Vaughn had many cuts and bruises. He got cleaned up and headed towards the debriefing room. There'd be a debrief in a few minutes no matter how late it was.

Vaughn told them what happened. Kendall asked a few questions and they got answered."Alright Agent Vaughn, you shall return home tonight and be back by 10:00 AM tomorrow."

"Wait," Sydney said, "but what are we gonna tell our daughter? Michael, excuse me, I mean, Agent Vaughn is so beat up that she'll surely ask questions."

"Well, what do you suggest Agent Bristow (Sydney did take 'Vaughn' as her last name but was still addressed as Agent Bristow at the agency)?"

"Well-"

Vaughn cut her off, "We'll think of something."

"Alright then. This debrief is now over."

Everybody left.

"Michael," she said.

"Yeah?"

"I have an idea"

"Okay."

"We'll need to use your office."

"Um, okay. Wait, what are you planning to do to me?"

"Oh, you'll see," she said with giggle.
