i do not think that porn should be legal because it doesn't promote chastity before marriage and depicts sex as a mere physical act like eating or breathing. for people who are married, porn causes people to essentially have sex with many people even though they may only be having sex with their spouse. it also degrades the people who produce it and causes people to live in a fantasy world where sex is the only thing that matters.

I don't view porn but I don't have anything against it. I think making it illegal would be wrong because people have the right to view porn if they wish to.

I don't think there's anything wrong with pornography unless we're talking children or violent/rape kinda stuff. If that's how someone chooses to make a living, more power to them. And people who wish to view it, they have every right to.

Pornography is disgusting. It is degrading to women and men because it depicts them as merely objects and not real people. I mean, there's pornography out there that actually depicts women as meat.

Basically, the study found that those who view pornography and then are asked to rate their significant others, they rate them lower than if they had looked at non-pornographic pictures. And that they were more likely to be hostile.
So tell me that pornography isn't harmful.

If you view it regularily, and don't think that you have an addiction, try going without it for a week or month, and it will most likely be harder than you thought.
However, many people don't have a problem with being addicted to it, or they aren't addicted and take pleasure in it, but could stop whenever they wanted.
I think that if you want to view porn, it should be available, but not in public where kids could see it, because they don't know what they are seeing, and are way too young to be thinking about sex. One of the laws where I live, Alberta Canada, is that alcohol cannot be sold in the same public grocery stores. So places like Safeway usually have a liquor store around the side. I think that pornography should be the same way, so that kids or those who don't want to see it don't have to, but yet at the same time, it is available for those who want it. I know that some people might think that it is unfair that you have to go to a different place, or are being set apart from people who don't view porn, so you are not being treated equally, but this is only my personal opinion.
