The Seven
Day 7
My fiance' rolled over and smiled as I opened my eyes.
"I don't wanna go back home!" I whispered as Michael rubbed
his eyes. "Yeah, I don't want to either, but you're going to have to call
me Vaughn again." he replied. I laughed, "Yeah, I'm going to hate that
too."
After laying in bed talking for an hour talking, we finally
got up and packed all of our things. Then, we went to the fanciest
restaraunt we could find, and had the biggest breakfast, I've had
my entire life.
We had pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, and all
kinds of assortments of danishes. So, you can imagine that after
breakfast we were really full.
We packed all of our things, and started driving home.
On the way home, we stopped at this arena, and went inside
to play a little hockey.
"How did you survive all of these days without playing
hockey?" I asked him. He laughed and admitted that it was pretty
hard. We practiced for over and hour, and to be honest with you,
I thought that I was getting better. Obviously Michael thought I
was too because he commented with, "Jeez, Syd, I used to
be able to get past you with no problem, now I have to try harder!"
I laughed, and we played until after noon. When we got
back into the car, we drove for a little, and then we stopped at
an ice cream place. We both had some Ice Cream, and
watched a group of ducks below in the lake, wading around
the water.
---
We didn't pull into my home, until about 4:00 that night,
and when we did, we stayed out in the car for another half hour kissing.
"That was a wonderful vacation, the best one I've ever had!" Michael
told me. "Same here," I agreed with him.
We walked back into the house, hand-in-hand, and began
bringing our things back into my house. "The first thing we have to
do, before we start arranging wedding plans, is find a permanent, new
place for us both to live in. I smiled, and said, "Yes, that sounds like
a good idea."
