The Seven

The Seven

Day 6

The sun poured on me as I woke up. That was an awesome night, I thought
as I pulled back the covers. I looked over at my fiance' and smiled. This was our
last full day of vacation, and I wanted to make it the best.

I got up and brought Syd some breakfast from the dining area.
I woke her up with a gentle kiss, and said, "Breakfast is ready." She
smiled and we had breakfast together.

"So, which do you prefer," I asked her, "Golf or Miniture Golf?"
"Miniture, definitely, I'm not good at regular golf, I always hit a tree."
I laughed, okay, mini golf it is."

"So, when do we get our cash money for the sandcastle contest?"
she asked me. "Well, I think we should check the bulletin board at the beach,
maybe they're giving it out today. What did you wanna go shopping with it?"

She laughed, "No, I have a surprise for you." I smiled, "A surprise,
huh?" "Yes, and I'm not giving it to you until we leave tomorrow." she said
I couldn't wait to see what she had gotten me, I thought after my surprise
engagement, that there would be no other surprises.

We played mini golf at this really nice golf course. I accidently
hit my ball into the fountain, but I finally got it out with my club. Syd
beat me the first nine, but then I started trying and beat her the second
nine.

After the golf, we decided to head over to the little amusement
park that was on one of the boardwalks. It was a cooler day today, with
more wind, so we didn't worry about burning.

Of course we had to go on the Tilt-A-Whirl first, because, after all,
that's my favorite ride. Secondly, we went on the carousel. After
going on this ride called The Claw, which spun you around and around
we decided, we better take a break from the rides for a little.

There was this section of go carts, where you could ride them
around for a half hour. We decided to do it. We rode them around
this track, and it was really fun. I don't think they were inteded to
be used as bumper cars, but once I accidently ran into Syd.

After we went on the bumper cars we had lunch at
this air conditioned cafeteria. Then, we went on a couple of
other rides like the Ferris Wheel. I don't like heights too much,
but I didn't mind going on with Syd, after all, I didn't want some
strange, tattooed drunk coming over to ride with her.

When we finally left the amusement park it was around
three o'clock. We went on the beach for a couple hours, and then
went over to claim our $75 dollars that we had won in the
sandcastle contest.

"All that for $75" Syd sighed. "Hey, be happy we won
any money." I replied. She smiled, and we enjoyed a
nice dinner at one of the fanciest sea food places we could
find. There was a lobster special that night, so we had lobster.

After dinner, we went back to our hotel room, and enjoyed
our last night at the hotel. We were engaged. I, Michael Vaughn
was engaged to the beautiful Sydney Bristow, and I will never
forget the great night of sex we had that night, because it was
the best I've ever had.

Wow! That was great. I'm so glad they 'enjoyed' their last night on vacation. hehe.

This chapter was beautiful and I loved how they went to an amusement park!

So sweet, so realistic, so cool.
I'm lovin' this so much!

Keep up the very good work,

Claire

The Seven
Day 7

My fiance' rolled over and smiled as I opened my eyes.
"I don't wanna go back home!" I whispered as Michael rubbed
his eyes. "Yeah, I don't want to either, but you're going to have to call
me Vaughn again." he replied. I laughed, "Yeah, I'm going to hate that
too."

After laying in bed talking for an hour talking, we finally
got up and packed all of our things. Then, we went to the fanciest
restaraunt we could find, and had the biggest breakfast, I've had
my entire life.

We had pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, and all
kinds of assortments of danishes. So, you can imagine that after
breakfast we were really full.

We packed all of our things, and started driving home.
On the way home, we stopped at this arena, and went inside
to play a little hockey.

"How did you survive all of these days without playing
hockey?" I asked him. He laughed and admitted that it was pretty
hard. We practiced for over and hour, and to be honest with you,
I thought that I was getting better. Obviously Michael thought I
was too because he commented with, "Jeez, Syd, I used to
be able to get past you with no problem, now I have to try harder!"

I laughed, and we played until after noon. When we got
back into the car, we drove for a little, and then we stopped at
an ice cream place. We both had some Ice Cream, and
watched a group of ducks below in the lake, wading around
the water.

---

We didn't pull into my home, until about 4:00 that night,
and when we did, we stayed out in the car for another half hour kissing.
"That was a wonderful vacation, the best one I've ever had!" Michael
told me. "Same here," I agreed with him.

We walked back into the house, hand-in-hand, and began
bringing our things back into my house. "The first thing we have to
do, before we start arranging wedding plans, is find a permanent, new
place for us both to live in. I smiled, and said, "Yes, that sounds like
a good idea."

That was lovely. A perfect ending to a perfect fic.

You are an awesome writer and I would also love a sequel!!

I loved the last lines, about getting a house, it was beautiful.

I agree that Vaughn, being Vaughn, could not survive a week without hockey. Very good. I liked that detail.

Thanks for an awesome fic. I hope you continue, it would mean a lot to me and others!
