I just read in a magazine that Greg is doing another show, but if JJ will have him, he said he plans to keep doing alias. So maybe that's changed, but we'll see.
I agree with sweet_sarah_grl..... Weiss has largely been in the background this season until his 10 second appearances and who knows what he is doing when he is not in the scene? ... Maybe he is upset that he has to sit behind a desk all day long while Sydney and Vaughn get to jet off to exciting location assignments. Perhaps he feels slighted by the CIA because they never really noticed his abilities as an agent and believes he is as good or even better than Sydney and Vaughn. The Covenant may have recruited him because they have pounced on Weiss's jealousy, insecurities or quest for recognition....
