Patricia Arquette? Did anyone see that one coming? Glenn Close or Mariska Hargitay wouldn't shock me but Patricia? Though I do like Medium but damn! That was total shocker! I think Jen has a good shot at winning next year. It will be Alias's last season, he fiancee will die, and she will be having his baby. Award viters love all three of those!

No offense to Patricia Artquette, but I have seen the show and there is no way that she has to play the range of emotions that Jen does as an actress. I just don't get the way it works. I know I am partial to Alias, but Jen is a much stronger actress.

BTW- there is no real clip, they just showed the scene where Irina says goodbye to her in the finale and Syd is crying.

I think that does work against her as well. I think if she turned in an ep where there wasn't much action she would be taken more seriously. Which is why I'd say she has a shot next year.
