yeah, for the 'behind the veil' thing hmm... how to explain... okay well you know when sirius died he fell 'behind the veil' and when they first entered that room harry could hear voices... so could luna and i bet you neville could too because the people who had died in their lives were kinda sorta not like behind the veil but i mean it kinda symbolized that they were... oh gosh i'm terrible at explaining things.. nevermind. anyways, i was thinking to myself the very same thing that harry might be able to talk to sirius somehow... now i was thinking of pictures. because you know how the portraits in dumbledore's office and elsewhere can talk and stuff? well, i don't see why there can't be one of sirius like that. it would at least have him there in a way. oh gosh, the mirror part was really sad...

i don't know what channel it was on or even when it came or if it did. my friend who told me has no clue about anything harry potter... i should investigate more.

i had no idea they wer cutting off lots from the third but it isn't surprising. the books are getting too long to be making movies without cutting out like more than half of it. i know it's really going to disappoint me, though, because the third book is my favorite.
 
Ack...no more movies. I just don't thing they cover enough at all!

And yeah...I was wondering about the whole picture thing too. Are they like "ghosts" who decide to live in a picture. That was kind of confusing...but it just doesn't seem like Sirius would be the type to stay behind in a picture. But I do hope Harry and him can make contact!

yeah, i'm very afraid the movies will turn stupider than they are now(no offense to anyone who loves them i just don't think they're the best things in the world at the moment)

hmmm... i didn't think you had to be a ghost to be in the picture because like sirius's mom for instance wasn't a ghost or anything. neither was phineas nigellus.
 
I wonder if that'll ever be explained about how you become a painting. It's kind of confusing...or maybe I'm just too tired to really think. Oh, Bridget, you still thinking about the quote? It's interesting isn't it? I just felt it fit so well. Truthfully the whole song that it's from I personally think, fits quite well with the characters, but I won't post unless people want it. I won't take up bandwith space. And back to what we were talking about..the veil thing is still kind of confusing too. I should probably re-read it and see if I can figure it out more.

I know I'm kinda naggin on the movies but then I think to myself, despite the fact that they don't follow the book as much as we might like, the movies are kind of on their own....i'm bad at explaining things, but I was just thinking and I still luv the first two movies...they're just sumthing that I keep seperate from the books in a way.....oy, I'm making no sense whatsoever. I think it's the heat. I don't even know what the temp it outside but I don't really want to know because I'm inside and it's making me delirious!!! lol. newho, did anyone else just love Phinaeus Nigellus's snide little comments on young ppl? When Harry was in dumbledores office and was throwing a temper tantrum, I felt mad with him at first but then I couldn't help but giggle! 'never try to understand the students, dumbledore...they'd rather be tragically missunderstood' :lol:

and I'd like to find out more in the other books about the painting thing too....interesting


EDIT: sorry for all the typos here....I think the heat's affecting my typing skills. :P

LOL...I did think about it! It seems so interesting for the story line in the sense it seems like everyone (like the friends) will be together, but take Harry. He is alone in the world of fears he has. Death of Sirius, Voldemort...it's all on a different level from all his friends.

And I definitely want to know about the painting thing...how does it work?
 
Does anybody think the paintings will ever be explained? Reading all this I'm so confused now. :blink: And I keep reading all these fan fiction stories and some of them are so sad, that I'm just like crying. He's gone! :( It's so hard to deal with it...I feel like I knew him or something like that? Anyone else? I seriously cannot wait for #6! I'm hoping to try to figure the veil thingy out and the paintings or at least understand them better because it was kind of confusing.
 
The paintings are driving me off the wall! I want to know how those work!!!!

And where are these fanfic for HP? LOL...I haven't read any ff for a while..but maybe I could again...;)
 
I know, tell us where you found them! I haven't fread any in a long time! I actually read the first in a while yesterday...i found a link on seanbiggerstaff.com....it was kinda nasty, but really hilarious too....it's called the Naked Quidditch match.... :rolleyes: I think it's at a site called Gryffindor Tower.
 
Well I know they have them at fanfiction.net but I go to schnoogle.com. It's part of this community where of 4 sections of fics. Schnoogle is for novel-length; Astronomy Tower is for Romance; Riddikulus is for comedy/funny ones; and The Dark Arts is for anything else. I just put schnoogle because it'll lead you straight to the fics. It's kind of confusing but once you start looking around it gets of kind of easier. But they have pretty much every type of fic and ship you could think of and it's free to sign up. (y)

yes very very sad....and i just cried all over again, because i was reading ff at sugar quill and found this one called Sirius's Epilogue It's pretty short, just a chapter, but it's pretty good. thought i'd let my fellow sirius lovers know... ;) :P
