High School Questions

I think it all depends on where you're going. Like I said, I go to an all-girls Catholic high school, so there's only about 2,000 of us. Not that big... I can see being overwhelmed at a huge high school and not knowing anyone.

It's a long running tradition at my high school to tell the freshmen to go to "Room 119"... which for some odd reason doesn't exist. We've got 118 and 120...but no 119. Anyway, on my first day- no one told me to go to 119,
yeah, at my high school, i heard there were some evil upperclassmen selling the naive freshmen "elevator passes." which is funny because our school has no elevator.

but no one ever did it to me. i always just heard stories, never really seen anything. ^_^
My brother is in high school, and for about the first week of school, all of the upperclassmen sell "pool passes" to the freshmen. First thing, there isn't a pool, and second, the "pool" is on the top floor. Of course, to get to the top floor, you need an elevator pass. Btw, there's no elevator. It's a pretty good joke, except for the freshmen. Those seniors could make a lot of money in just one day.

I actually don't go to high school yet, but he told me about it. At least I won't fall for it!

HS goes by very quick. Ive had some of the best times of my life in HS. Im sure you hear it al the time, but for a very good reason, its true. CHERISH-EVERY-MINUTE-OF-IT.

I go to an all-guys Catholic school in LA, and there's only about 350 of us

HS isn't as bad as TV makes it out to be. Just make the best out of your experience while you can.

what nic and aa said is true - high school is what you make of it. and it really isn't as bad as television and movies make it out to be.

still though, i'm glad i'm not in high school anymore. not that i had horrible high school experiences but college is ten times better (and, unfortunately, harder) than high school and i'm happy where i am.
