"What do you mean you saw something? What was it? Were you being watched?"
"I don't know. We went back to look, but I heard something. It was like something fell on the ground, so I went back to where Vaughn was, but he wasn't there."
"OK, I'll get a team there. Just stay here until we can get anything," said Jack with a look of sympathy.
***In the warehouse***
"Your fool if you really think I'm going to do what you say, Sark," said Vaughn.
"We'll see about that Mr. Vaughn. Is it this young lady? Would you like a more attractive woman? Or would you like a brunette to remind you of Sydney? I could easily get rid of this woman for another," said Sark lifting his gun to the crying woman.
"No! No don't Sark. Don't kill her," said Vaughn looking at the ground. He wasn't able to talk his way out of this. He was a prisoner to Sark. There was nothing he could do. He didn't have the courage to look at the young woman. He was so ashamed to what he was going to do. He felt disgusted with himself, but there was nothing he could do.
***Back at Ops.***
"Sydney, we sent a team in the park to search for any leads. We should hear from them in a matter of minutes," Jack said to Sydney. He put his hand on her shoulder letting her know that he was there for her. This was hurting him as much as it hurt her. If she doesn't know already, Sydney was the only one in his life. He had no one to comfort him when he needed it. He left the Ops. Center daily knowing that he had to go home to an empty home. On several occations he would sit in his home with only the presence of alcohol.
OK..not really sure where I'm going with this, but don't worry. I'll figure it out later. I just need to some time to think about it. I know this is really short, but my brain's not really working right now. If you have any comments, then please don't hesitate to post them. If you have a suggestion to what you want to happen, then PM me so you won't spoil it for others. I appreciate everyone's replys.
