**Sydney’s POV**

I stood there looking down at him, into his sparkling blue eyes. I was still trying to grasp what he had just asked me. “What?” I asked. “Will you marry me Sydney?” He replied as he kneeled on one knee holding out a beautiful diamond ring waiting for my answer. Finally after a couple of seconds of Sydney playing the moment over in her head, she found the strength to open her mouth and with a tear rolling down her cheek she said, “Yes”. The man she loved then placed the ring onto her finger gently with his loving hands then stood up and pulled Sydney into his warm embrace and kiss. They stood there holding each other for what seemed like a lifetime, Before Sydney brought up the question that had been playing on her mind. “What are we going to do about Vaughn?” She said before she pulled back and rested her forehead against his. ”Don’t worry I have a plan” he said before he took her face in his hands and tenderly kissed her forehead. Then she looked up at him and said with all her heart “I love you Adrian with all my heart”. “Come on lets go home” he said as he took her hand and lead her away from the beautiful scene behind them and into the sleek black limo. The limo driver then came and opened the door for them and sitting inside was her mother, Irina. “Congratulations Sydney” she said before kissing Sydney’s check and giving her a bid hug, “Your so beautiful Sydney, Your going to be so happy”. Then Irina stepped out of he doorway to allow the happy couple to enter the limo. She stood there for a couple of minutes as she watched the limo drive off into the distance, she couldn’t help but smile as she thought of her daughter finally happy for once in her life.

**Vaughn POV**

Vaughn couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have a woman as beautiful, caring and supportive as Sydney. He sat in his car as he watched Sydney go inside her house before he drove away.

~ Later in the early hours of the morning ~
Vaughn was sound asleep on his bed with his mouth wide open as he drooled a bit on the side on his pillow. That was until his cell phone, home phone and pager all went off in a torrent off beeping and ringing. “What the hell?” said a half-asleep Vaughn as he sat bolted upright in bed before reaching for his cell on the pine bedside table. He flipped it open “What’s with the wake up call at…” he looked at his clock radio “4:47 am?” he inquired. His answer then came from Dixon “Vaughn a short while ago a fire was reported at Sydney’s house, you’d better come down here”. “What is she alright?”. “You’d better come down here and see”. “Holy felgercarb said Vaughn after he’d hang up on Dixon and rushed out of his room grabbed his car keys off the hallway stand and grabbed the nearest jacket of the rack next to the door before quickly running of the door towards his car. It took him a while in his stressed state to find the right key, but he did eventually before quickly reversing nearly hitting his mailbox before he drove madly towards Sydney’s house.

~ 20 minutes later ~
As Vaughn approached Sydney’s street he saw fire trucks, police cars everywhere, he could barely get through the street it was badly packed with people looking at what was happening. By the time he got through he saw why everyone was crowding around. Sydney’s hose for totally black with ash he quickly got out of his car and ran to the front door where he was meet by a sad faced Dixon. By the look on his face he could tell what had happened, but he wouldn’t believe it. He walked into her house and saw a bunch of paramedics swarming over something against the wall, they then moved to reveal a stretcher with a blue body bag before the pushed it away. At seeing this Vaughn collapsed against a wall and slowly slide down it until he was on the floor holding his head as he cried for her.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn’s POV**

He sat silently in the church in his black suit with his head down unable to look at anyone. The church was filled with Sydney’s friends from various years of learning, and even more CIA officers. The all sat listening to the priest as he talked about Sydney’s life. Of course not all of it they left the bit about SD-6 out of course but left the cover of the ‘Bank’ in. Behind the priest was a big white screen, which during all this was showing a slide show of pictured of Sydney throughout her life. Every now and then the priest would stop talking and a videotape of something would be shown, all of this was to painfully for him to watch, he was barely even listening to the priest he talked of Sydney’s accomplishments. “Sydney’s was also was extremely talented at ballet” continued the priest. At this Vaughn looked up he never knew Sydney knew ballet, as he looked up on the screen was a home movie of Sydney in her late teens dancing swan lake. “Sydney was going to take up a career of ballet, but decided to take after her late mother and become an Englished teacher”. Continued the priest. Vaughn soon started to think to himself again. It was hard to believe that Sydney had once wanted to be like her, but then he had wanted to be like his father. Vaughn sat there in his thoughts right through most of the ceremony, once in a while lifting his head as the priest said something of interest. The next time he looked up he saw Sydney wrapped up in a big comforter, with a thermometer stuck in her mouth as she rapidly typed away at her laptop. Suddenly a male voice could be heard, who was obviously the camera operator “Syd give me the thermometer”, Sydney then took it out her mouth and passed it o him before getting back to her writing. The camera was then set down on the table and you could see Danny sitting next to Sydney on the couch. “Sydney you temperature is way to high, and its Christmas come on take a break”. She looked back at him and he gave her a puppy dog pout. “Ok, ok I’ll stop, Well I see you’re having fun with the camera I gave you”. “I just love this thing Danny said before he grabbed it off the table and turned I off. “That was Sydney’s late fiancee Danny who died soonly after there engagement” continued the priest. The priest then said his finally words before blessing the crowd and bidding them farewell and thanks for coming. Vaughn got out of the pew he was sitting in and slowly made it back to his car sat down in the drivers seat before laying his head on his cars steering wheel and cried.

**Sydney’s POV**

She sat lying against Sarks chest as he wrapped his arms around her holding her tightly to him as they lay on a cushioned day bed watching the sunset over their new Spanish villa. “This is beautiful, I love it Adrian” she said as she turned her head and shoulders so she could lean in and kiss him tenderly over his soft pink lips. “And that’s why I do it” he replied in his sexy Irish accent before he started to kiss her again even more passionately than ever before. Sydney then fully turned over so she was lying right on top of him. They’re kissing got even more passionate and egger. And soon their hands were roaming over each other’s bodies. Sark stopped briefly to say, “Lets go explore the bedroom a bit more shall we”, he then picked up Sydney holding him in is arms as he took her back to their bedroom. “I’m gonna show you how wild I can be” teased Sydney. “I can’t wait” replied Sark with a laugh at his lovely fiancee.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sarks POV**

Sark was awoken by the sunlight of the new day shining through the open doors opposite the end of the bed. He looked down to see Sydney’s shining brown hair on his chest, his stroked it with his free hand, and Sydney lifted her head to look at him “Morning” she said before leaning back on his chest but so she could still she him. “I’m going to go get us some breakfast love,” he said as he gently got up and out of bed before he grabbed his boxers off the floor and pulled them on before walking outside. He strode along the side of the pool before walking through the open door into the kitchen. As soon as he walked in the phone on the wall started ringing. Adrian casually walked over and picked up the phone off its wall mounting. “Hello?” “Mr. Sark, we have a problem we can’t delay the mission any longer you’ll have to come in and help verify the last details before we proceed” the male voice on the other line then hung up the phone”. Adrian then slammed the phone down on the nearest counter top. He sat down on one the parlour chairs and leaned his head in his hand “How am I going to tell her” he muttered to himself. “Tell me what,” said Sydney from behind him, he turned around to see Sydney walked in wrapped in the white bed sheet. “There’ve moved up the mission Sydney we’ll have to leave tonight” he replied as Sydney walked over and kissed him gently. ”Well then we have to enjoy the rest of our day don’t we” Sydney replied provocatively before she dropped the sheet on the floor. ”I’m sure we will he said before embracing Sydney and kissing. I love her lips he thought to himself they were made to be kissed.

**Irina's POV**

She sat behind the desk as her daughter and her fiancee who had been her close business partner for many years. He was like a son to her having taught him everything she knew about the spy business. "We have to progress with the plan, Sydney you father suspects that you're not really dead, he's been trying to contact me". Irina looked across the desk to look at her daughter who was now seating across from her, with her hand being firmly held by Adrian. "Are you sure this is absolutely necessary, everything still isn't in place yet, this could put everything else at risk" Sydney replied. "Sydney we have no choice, you know your father, he'll get anything and everything in his power to find you" Irina replied. "Ok, but we'll have to get everything ready before the end of the day so I can get to my apartment, I'm just going to enjoy some more of my engagement before our plan puts it on hold" Sydney replied before getting up and walking out the door with Adrian. Irina couldn?t help but smirk at her daughter's attitude towards such things.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

She sat snugly with Adrian in the back seat of his BMW; they were still parked in the car park of the factory. "We can't even have one day to ourselves" stated Sydney sadly. "But being a spy means you have to sacrifice something's" replied Adrian. "But I don't want to sacrifice you not even for a moment, I've waited so long to be with you all those missions when bumped into each other, even when I first saw you all I wanted was to see you again" said Sydney. "When I was told about you by Irina I just couldn't imagine what you would be like, but you were stunning I fell in love with you instantly" replied Adrian. "I did do, with you blue eyes and sexy blonde hair, how could I resist?" "Well we should make all that we can with the time that been left us" said Adrian, "I'm going to miss you so much" replied Sydney. Suddenly Sydney's cell rang. "Where is it "Sydney said as she searched through her purse for it. "Here, it was on the floor" Adrian replied holding up her phone." Thanks" opens phone "Hello, yes, what already, ok I'll be there in 10, Bye" she then turned to look at Adrian "They have got everything ready already, its bet what forty minutes" she inquired as she look at Adrian. "Well your mum does work fast when she's motivated," said Adrian. "Sometimes I wish she wouldn't," said Sydney feeling less enthusiastic about her mission. "Adrian I'm really worried about the mission, its pretty long term". "What about your mother, she had to be married to your father for years, and she managed ok and back then things were way behind technology wise compared to now". "And I'll be helping making sure its ok so don't worry love I'm here for you, know go up there and be what you were meant to be" Adrian said before pulling Sydney in for a quick kiss.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

Vaughn was sitting in one the many airports seats as he waited for his plane to come in. The CIA had told him to take some time off; he just couldn't get her out of his head. Every time he said or did anything it would remind him of her. I've been drinking too much lately he thought to himself. "Flight 102 to Paris France will now commence boarding in bay 7" said a pre-record voice over the airport intercom system. Vaughn stood up and grabbed his bag and briefcase and made his way to bay 7. He was going to visit his family, and try to escape his thoughts of Sydney in a place were he could never my reminded of her. Or so he thought. Even just getting onto the plane was hard, he walked through first class seating, and could have sworn the woman with the blonde hair looked like Sydney. But he didn't get a good chance to look at her because an airhostess soon escorted him to business with a kind word about using the business class entrance. Vaughn soon found his seat and was sitting quite comfortably for most of the flight, until he heard a woman up in first class complaining in very loud French because they wouldn't let her use her cell phone. The airhostess was telling her the only alternative was the plane's phone, but the lady said it was for a private business conversation. As the plane shook from some turbulence the curtain that was covering the doorway moved and Vaughn was able to catch a glimpse of the lady and it turned out to be the blonde woman again. The blonde suddenly looked down the isle to her left to were Vaughn was sitting and suddenly it didn't matter and she went back to what Vaughn presumed as her seat, but he couldn?t see so he guessed. The woman had looked at him like she knew him, and it had scared her.

*Hey Sarah,*

Great story. I'm kind of confused about what Irina and Sydney were talking about in the beginning. Doesn't Sydney remember anything from the past? Did they erase her memory? What's with all the punctuation and quotes being question marks??? Can you PM me when your done with the next chapter?

*Thanks*

you'll undersatnd more as the story comes along

next bit.....

**Sydney's POV**

I need to talk to my mother she thought to her self after she saw Vaughn walk past into business class. I hope he didn't see me. Sydney got up and grabbed one of her bags and searched through it until she found the special cell Irina had given her in case something went wrong and this was defiantly one of these times. Irina was supposed to be watching what Vaughn did so there would be no possibility of a slip up. As soon as she started dialling a hostess came and told her that she couldn't use her cell on the plane. "If I want to use my cell I will" I told her. "Miss I'm telling you its illegal" said the hostess. "Well I'm telling you I'm going to keep on dialling and your going to go away and get me some peanuts," I said back in the hope she'd back off. "Miss you're being terribly rude and I'm going to have to do this" and at that she grabbed the cell and walked off to the room between first class and business class."Excuse me that's my phone, give it back you can't do that? I stared to say in French so everyone could hear. "Miss you can use the Planes phone if you wish but no if you continue to behave like this". "I need to use my cell its for a private business call. Suddenly the plane rocked with turbulence and the material screen that was covering the entrance to business class moved aside and I saw Vaughan sitting in his seat staring at me. sh*t I thought to myself I quickly muttered something to the hostess and went back to my seat. Irina better be able to explain herself.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

Since the incident he hadn't seen hide or hair of the mysterious blonde woman. After the plane landed Vaughn was greeted by a large collection of family. They all consisted mostly of his many grandmothers who were happy to grab his checks to see how much he'd grown and ask why he hadn't brought a nice American girl with him. He finally escaped their clutches when his cousin came over. "Michael, were do you want to have lunch? asked his cousin Nicole. "How about that nice cafe with the nice view of the tower?" he suggested. "That sounds nice, I haven't visited Paris in a while" sighed Nicole. "Then we?ll have to enjoy what time we have before I get totally consumed by all our over caring family," he said with a laugh. Michael and Nicole were more than happy to depart the rest of the group. As Nicole drove to the cafe they talked about nearly everything except one particular subject. As they were sitting at the café in one of its outside tables, Nicole had to bring up the subject. "Michael, are you sure your ok you haven't said anything about her yet". "That because I don't want to, I came here to get over her, and so far she been in my head more than ever" Michael said in frustration. Just then the waiter came over and asked for their orders, after he'd left Michael was looking around when he spotted a blonde man standing off to one side staring at him. Is that Sark, he thought to himself.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sarks POV**

I'm going to kill Irina for not be careful Adrian thought to himself as he was in clear view of that mongrel Vaughn. As Adrian watched Vaughn, he suddenly looked around and was staring right at him. Holy sh*t, "come on look away" said Adrian softly mostly to himself. Then Vaughn pulled out his cell; at that Sark bolted out of his hiding place and behind him he could see Vaughn chasing after him. Adrian was running so fast he could barely feel his legs, and Vaughn was only a couple of meters behind him. Suddenly the alley he'd been running down came to a deadend. Irina better look after Sydney, Adrian thought as he turned around and waited for Vaughn to catch up. Suddenly Vaughn grabbed out his gun and shot Sark in the leg. "Ow! I was gonna give myself up you prat!" I yelled at him. "Sure Sark, and I'm gonna just give you a bandaid and kiss and let you be on you way" he said. "I wouldn't have minded a cookie," said Sark with a smirk on his face. "Well were your gonna go they ain"t gonna be any cookies were your going".

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

"What do you mean you put Adrian on the job, its to dangerous" pleaded Sydney. "I can't do anything Sydney, he's already there right this minute" replied Irina. "Ok well at least keep me posted, alright" said Sydney. Suddenly Irina cell started ringing. She picked it up and answered "Hello, yes" she stopped and looked at Sydney then continued to talk "ok yes thank you". "Sydney we have a problem" she started slowly "What happened?" asked Sydney even though she already knew the answer. "Vaughn has Adrian in CIA custody". "Is he alright?" asked Sydney as a tear rolled down her check. "From what our people have told me he's been shot in his upper left thigh". At this more tears started to fall down Sydney's checks. "Sydney" said Irina as she walked from around her desk to kneel down next to the chair that Sydney was sitting in and wrapped her arms around Sydney as she cried. "It'll be ok, we?ll just have to change our plans a bit but it'll be ok" Irina said gently.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Jacks POV**

Jack stood in the same area he had stood in when Irina had occupied the cell now he was looking at Sark with the same look of disgust he had used when looking at her. "Hello agent Bristow" Sark said smuggle. "I'm not here for pleasantries Sark, I want to know where my daughter is" said Jack. "Well she's in row 34 plot 4 in the L.A Cemetery" replied Sark knowing that it would hit a tender spot. "We both know she's not dead Sark and I have Intel that proves otherwise, I'll be back later" said Jack before walked away from the glass panel.

>>----------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sarks POV**

He must be talking about that video footage that Sydney faked of killing my father, I feel some what sorry for the poor man being betrayed by first someone he loved his wife and then his very own daughter.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney?s POV**

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Sydney asked her mother. "Yes, it is Sydney, I"ve had contact with Adrian through the CIA mole and he knows how to act. "Your scheduled for the operation at 7 tonight ok," said Irina reassuringly. "Will there be any side effects?" asked Sydney. "Well when I asked before they said it be a while to recover your memory but weve organised certain therapy sessions for when your back. And we'll have Adrian back fairly soon into the mission but you'll have to stay until I give you the , signal then we'll continue onto phase 3 as soon as possible? Irina explained. "What will be the sign?" asked Sydney. "A vile of your blood with the mark of rambaldi marked on it" said Irina. "I'm going to miss you mum" said Sydney. "I'm going to miss you to honey," said Irina before hugging Sydney.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn?s POV**

"Hello?" said the woman directing the agent phone line "This is agent"... The woman who had answered the phone in the joint task centre suddenly jumped up and ran into Dixon's office. He then ran out with her and was talking very loudly giving out orders. "Get Kendall here now" yelled Dixon, soon one of the agents had Kendall running into the joint task centre. By now everyone was watching the event unfold. Kendall pick up the phone talked to the person on the other line then hanged up. Before collapsing on the nearest chair. Dixon now realised that everyone was watching them. "We just received a call from Hong Kong, from one of our agents" he explained. "But we don't have any agents in Hong Kong at the moment" said Weiss. "I know but the agent was Sydney Bristow". And at this everyone turned around in his or her chairs to look at Vaughn.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

Why can't I remember anything, thought Sydney? Sydney was in the navel hospital, Weiss had just left. There was so much to take in, she'd been missing for two-years presumed dead, and Vaughn was married. She was just feeling so confused by everything, she remembered everything before and after but not what happened in between in was just to strange, why would someone leave her in a dirty Hong Kong street? It just didn't make any sense.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sark's POV**

She should be here soon, Adrian thought to himself. He was sitting on the cold metal bed that was connected to the wall. He had one of his legs propped up on the bed and the other one on the ground; he was fiddling with his nails when she walked in. He had to remember to act like Irina had told him to but it was hard, if it wasn't for the glass and the mission he who have loved the rush over her kiss her. He hadn't seen her in ages. But he had to stick to the plan. He acted shocked that he was alive and added a bit of smugness to make it convincing. After she'd left he sat back down and sighed with relief and happiness. Every time he saw Sydney she made him feel so, well it was hard to describe but it was more than physical attraction that was for sure, he just couldn't wait for phase 3 to commence.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Jack's POV**

Sydney was alive and he knew he'd do anything to keep her alive and around. He didn't want Vaughn to keep hurting her, he was going to try hard to protect her this time, those two years had been torture for him but he didn't give up hope not once not like the man who supposedly loved her.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

Ever since Sark had been traded, everything seem to be slowly down, there were less missions and he could get one thing out of his mind, Sydney. Everyday he'd walk into the Joint Task centre she'd already be there at her desk usually talking to Weiss. She was so beautiful, but then he had to push her from his mind, he was married now but lately he'd been feeling like it was a mistake. Lauren had been so accusing of him lately. But then she had a right to he was feeling things for Sydney that a married man shouldn't. Then Jack had his little talk, which had scared Vaughn a little but didn't deterred him he decided that things just weren't working out between them but then the day he was going to tell her something happened.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

They had just received the Rambaldi vile; she knew what she had to do. She came to work as usual. At exactly 12 noon all the computers shut down, Marshall was in a frenzy trying to get them back on. Then people in black camouflage and guns came in and started handcuffing everyone except Sydney. He just sat at her desk calmly and kept typing while everyone else was pushed to the ground and put in a group a just left of Sydney. Everyone was now tied up except Sydney, and they were looking at her as she ignored what was going on around her. Then the main operative took of his mask to reveal his identity. I t was Sark, he walked over to Sydney and asked, "How's it going?", "Oh good, I'm nearly done, oh and where's Irina?" asked Sydney. "She coming dear" said Sark before kissing her on the forehead. Everyone one who was on the floor was watching this in shock. After Sydney had finished typing on he laptop she closed it and walked out with it and grabbed a bag Sark handed her before making her way to the toilets.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Jacks POV**

He couldn't believe it from what he'd just seen, Sydney had betrayed him just like his wife had, and they were working together. Then after Sydney left Irina walked in and started to Sark who then walked down the hallway in the same direction to which Sydney had gone. He felt so betrayed at this moment he hung his head in shame. He just couldn't believe it.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

He couldn't believe what he'd seen less than 30 minutes ago, Sark and Sydney were talking and he kissed her. But what came next shocked him more Sydney and Sark came in with normal cloths holding hands, like they were a couple. It made him sick that she could act like that with that murderer, it mustn't be her he thought to himself, maybe there forcing her. But then they kissed each other their lips locking. He knew that even Sydney wouldn't do that if someone forced her. And just think I was going to tell her how I felt today. It was like someone had slapped him right across the face.

ok thx peoles next bit....
im gonna have to write more soon... When i started I had alreday written 15 pages im at like 12 now! I stopped cuz i had writers block, couldn't think of an ending...

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sark's POV**

I'm loving this he thought as he walked in holding hands with Sydney, he loved it o when he saw Vaughn's expression, when he pulled Sydney towards him an kissed her passionately and hard. This is just too much fun.
He released Sydney and pulled the little red box from his pocket "'I've been keeping this for you a while I think you'll want it back" he said as he opened it to reveal her engagement ring. "Thank you love" she said as she took it out of the box and placed it on her finger. She then leaned up on her tippy toes, placed her arms around his neck and kissed his lips so gently that he felt a surge in excitement. "How much longer?" asked Sydney. "We don't have to wait any longer" he said. He then put his left arm around her shoulders then his right arm underneath her knees and lifted her and carried her out into the hallway. He carried her all the way to the roof where there was a helicopter waiting for them. "So you've had to think this over I see" said Sydney at seeing the helicopter. "Just a bit" replied Adrian. Before kissing her lightly.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Irina's POV**

She stood there watching them talking to each other as in there own little world of happiness. She really was happy for Sydney because she trusted Adrian, and she knew he could protect her like no one else could. After Adrian carried Sydney out of room Irina turned back to the business at hand. The rest of Sydney's Co-workers were all sitting on the floor with their hands and feet bound by plastic bands. She scanned there faces for a second and saw jacks stick out with its look of despise and dare I think it surprise. The rest of the team stood around unfazed by what was happening. "Come on were leaving" she said to her men before turning around and walking away while her men covered her back.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

While everyone stood up around him he just sat on the ground staring at the floor as tears rolled down his face. He just hurt so much at that one moment. "Vaughn, are you ok?" asked Weiss who was standing in front of him looking down. Vaughn looked up at Weiss face with the tears still falling. "Vaughn, no one could have known," he said trying to reassure Vaughn. Weiss cut the bands that were restricting his hands and feet and helped Vaughn to his feet. But as soon as he was on his feet Vaughan walked out of the room and into the hallway. As soon as he was out of sight of anyone he leaned against the wall and slowly slide to the ground, know crying more than ever before. It felt like his heart had been ripped out.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

When they had return to there home, Sydney went to get changed and found over 500 wedding dresses all lined up in her wardrobe room, "Oh my god" Sydney said to herself. "So I'm guessing I did good?" Said Adrian from behind her. Sydney turned around before replying ?"ou did more than good", she paused before continuing "What did I do to deserve you?"" Just being alive was enough to deserve me" he said as he took each of her hands and intertwined his fingers with hers before started kissing her tenderly. "So which one do you like?" he asked, he then twilled her around so she was facing the rows of dresses while Adrian's hands were wrapped around her waist. "I'll just have to try each one on" she said before she walked out of Adrian's grasp and grabbed the collar of her bathrobe and pulled it so it fell to the floor. Adrian stood behind her admiring the view.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sark's POV**

After they're little fun in Sydney's wardrobe, while she was asleep he carefully picked her up and carried her into the bedroom. She was so peaceful looking as he slipped under the covers next to her and snuggled up to her before falling into a blissful sleep.

~ Early in the morning ~
Adrian was awoken once again from the sunlight of the new day shining through the open bedroom doors. He turned over to see if Sydney was awake to find the space next to him empty. He pulled back the covers and swang his legs over so they hit the floor he walked over to the chest of drawers and pulled out a pair of boxers. He put them on before walking through the rooms of the house looking for Sydney. He searched through every room but couldn't find her. He decided to call her cell phone, he walked into the kitchen and was about to pick up the phone when he a piece of paper stuck to the fridge. He took it off and read the page it was a Ransome note for Sydney's life.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<
This is a while later in time...just so u know.

**Jacks POV**

"Alright everybody your flight leaves in 3 hours" said Dixon before he walked out of the briefing room. Jack had been assigned to one of their most influential missions ever; they were very close to making a break through with the rambaldi devices. Agent Weiss, Vaughn and Him had to retrieve a device from Old Melbourne Jail in Melbourne Australia. If they didn't get it they'd be put back years into their investigation and tests.

~ During the mission ~
They were walking down the dark hallway when they saw one of the guards walks into one of the cells. They hid behind one of the support beam and waited till the guard had gone before they approached the cell. At first when Jack looked he couldn't see anything, but as he looked closer he could see a figure hunching in the corner of the cell. "Ple-, Please d-don't hu-hurt me". Said the figure in a feminine voice. As they approached Agent Weiss turned on the flashlight. The figure shielded her face with her hand from the bright light. After a few seconds so her eyes could readjust she took her hand away and they saw the identity of the figure. It was a woman in brown hair brown eyes who looked just like". Sydney. "Oh my god is that?" asked Weiss. "Sydney" said Vaughn. "What, ar-re you tal-king to m-me" Said Sydney. "Lets go" said Jack as he looked at Sydney one of the woman who had caused him so much pain already. Jack turned to leave and saw that Vaughn was still sitting with Sydney. Jack stood and watched while he talked to her. "Do you even know who you are?" he asked her. She looked at him with big eyes which is when Jack saw here shake her head. "Do you remember how you got here?" he asked and once again Sydney shook her head. Vaughn then turned around to face Jack "I seriously don't think she remembers anything Jack". "How are we supposed to believe her, she could be faking it Vaughn, she's a spy this is what she's been trained to do" replied Jack harshly. "Jack I truly believe that she's not faking, what would be the point?" said Vaughn. "'?ve got to say agree with Vaughn on that one" said Weiss. "Agent Weiss I am the highest ranking officer here and I say that we can't take that risk" said Jack. "Well I will" and with that Vaughn helped Sydney to her feet. "I hope you know that if anything happens it?ll be on your hide Agent Vaughn" said Jack.

Ok just thought I'd post the last bit.... Im gonna try and think up idea's for a new fic but it could take me a while, well thanks for reading.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

He sat behind the glass with the regression therapist as he watched Sydney as she tried to remember some of her memories. She had total amnesia with no memories at all. It was like a sign from god for him, it was his chance to be with her. He would make her fall in love with him all over again. He had divorced Lauren several months ago, although many of his Co-workers still hadn't realised that she didn?t come into the Joint Task centre, most of there attention was on Sydney. So far nothing had worked, people were trying to be understanding but some still didn?t believe it. But he wanted her to be with him. And he would do anything to make it happen.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Jacks POV**

He did care about what was happening, he watched from afar what she did. He just didn't want to be hurt again, he would wait until he was absolutely sure that nothing could happen. He watched as Agent Vaughn showed Sydney around and looked after her, he knew what he was doing. Vaughn wanted Sydney back even if she didn't remember him. As time went on, her memory still hadn't come back but as Jack watched he saw little bits of Sydney come back. She'd say things that would remind him of his little girl. He decided he would try to be a better father, it was like a clean slate. He would be better to her this time around.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

That Mr Vaughn is cute, she thought to herself as she typed out some deskwork. He had just walked past inadvertently shaking his well toned butt. Next month she had to do physical endurance a check to see if she was still able to be a field agent, that meant lots of physical tests. I was not looking forward to it. I just couldn't imagine myself being an agent, I'm pretty uncoordinated at the moment, but trying the do karate kicks and throwing punches just looked far off to me.

~A couple of months later ~

Sydney sat at her desk typing so more paper work from her most recent mission in Italy. After she'd finished up she grabbed her coat and walked outside to go home. Suddenly someone called her name from behind her. "Sydney" Sydney turned around to see Vaughn running to catch up to her. "Um, Sydney I was wondering are you doing anything tonight?" asked Vaughn as he flashed he lovely smile. "Oh, well no, what did you have in mind?" Sydney replied, oh my god I cant believe he's asking me on a date she thought to herself. "Well we could have dinner, at his really nice restaurant I know" he said, "That would be lovely" said Sydney, Vaughn then linked his arm with hers and walked away with her.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Jack's POV**

Jack had just walked out of a late briefing with Dixon, which is when he saw Vaughn into the corridor, he then heard him and Sydney talking, "We could have dinner" "That would be lovely" Jack then walked around the corner after that and saw them walked out arm in arm. Jack couldn't help but smile.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

He stood on Sydney's doorstep with her, he was taking her home. "Do you want to come in?" she asked. They walked in and Vaughn decided to get right to the point. "Sydney, I like you, you like me, lets just skip all this and get right to the point" he said as she looked at him. "I could live with that" she said before walking towards him and pushing him backwards onto the couch. She then crawled on top of him and the fun began.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

Sydney awoke in her bedroom and she noticed that Vaughn was lying behind her with his arms around her. This is the best dream I've ever had she thought to herself, that was until she heard Vaughn mumble in his sleep. So this isn?t a dream then she thought. Sydney carefully turned over in bed so as not to wake Vaughn. She lay next to him just staring at him sleep, with a huge grin on her face. Once the sun was fully up in the sky, Vaughn soon awoke to find the beautiful Sydney lying next to him staring into his eyes. "Morning, did you know your cute when you sleep" she said as she made an example of Vaughn's various cute sleeping facial expressions. "Ain't to bad yourself" he said before leaning in to kiss her. Boy had she wanted this for so long, all those agonising days watching him just wishing he would ask her. This was the best day of her life.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<
In the future a couple of years.

**Vaughn's POV**

"I'm so nervous" he said as he looked in the full length mirror adjusting his tie. "You weren't this nervous last time" said Weiss who was sitting on a chair behind him impatiently waiting for Vaughn to finish. "Last time I wasn't this madly in love" he said, "Do I look ok?" he asked before turning around to face Weiss. "You look fine your not the one who's supposed to fret so much" said Weiss with a laugh. "Come on Vaughn or well be late" he said before leading Vaughn outside to the limo.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sark's POV**

He stood on the roof of he building opposite as he unpacked the silver case next to him. "If I can't have her no one will" he muttered to himself.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Sydney's POV**

As the huge wooden door's were opened, I looked to my father at my side before looking back down the isle and the nervous feeling soon evaporated as I looked down the isle to see Vaughn standing there waiting for me. Marshall's daughter Sarah stood behind me holding the end on he dress. I took my first step as the music started, a huge grin spread across my face. I continued down the isle slowly, I just couldn't believe it I was getting married to the man of me dreams, but suddenly I stopped walking, everything started going hazy, until everything went black before my eyes.

>>--------------------------------------------------------------<<

**Vaughn's POV**

I stood at the altar watching her as she practically floated down the isle. Behind him he heard a crash then something hit Sydney in the abdomen and here white dressed was stained crimson. She started to fall forwards but was caught by her father who laid her on the ground. By this time he was running towards her, as time seemed to stand still. All around them the guests were standing up in shock. He watched as her breathing slowed, she was looking at him, which is when she said with her last breath "I'm sorry".
