The only thing that REALLY kept this ep from being one of the greatest was that it was TOO DANG DARK!!! I mean the drama, acting, script, action were all superb, but man, half the time there was NO light, there was NO fun, there was no disguises or stuff like that, so that was sorta disappointing, but it was still good

I agree. It was probably the darkest Alias episode yet. I think they reached a point with many of the characters, especially Vaughn, when they were in a very dark place. From what i've heard though, the new series sounds much more light in the way S1 was.

I doubt Alias can darken much more than 'Resurrection'...
