My first fan fic in a long time, so be nice.
The story takes place after Season Four's finale, approximately 5 months to be exact. (I'll add more to this little summary as I go along) Vaughn and Sydney survive the wreck, but Vaughn disapears and no one knows about it. Obviously Sydney is going to be questioned. That seems to happen a lot whenever someone disapears. I'll try to keep it creative and intense, but I'm kind of not sure where I'm wanting to exactly head with my story, so bear with me. Currently, Sydney is having problems dealing with Vaughn not being Vaughn, I mean who wouldn't. That's where our story will begin. I'll have PM list so if you want a PM say so.
Title: Who I Am
Author: Dana
Rating: PG or PG-13, in between, might have some violence, adult language, adult situations, might not be suitable for small children(and whatever else they say before movies)
DISCLAIMER: I did not come up with any of these characters, maybe the love intrest I right in later, but no other characters. JJ and his wonderful crew came up with these characters. Not I.
-Ch. 1-
"Vaughn, I don't understand." Sydney growing impatient.
"For starters, my name isn't Michael Vaughn."
That was the last thing Sydney remembered. Now she was sitting in the psycho ward to make sure she still had her marbles.
"I'm sorry, I don't remember anything else. Everything is a blur."
"Ms. Bristow, we have reason to believe that you may have seen something else that would lead to Mr. Vaughn's disaperence."
"That was 5 months ago, and we've been through this a dozen times. I don't know where he is, I don't remember anything else."
"You and Mr. Vaughn were close and don't you think you'd have the slightest idea where he'd be?"
"Are you deaf?"
"Pardon me?"
"I'm tired, exhausted, hungry, and my list goes on. I'm going home since we have nothing to discuss."
Sydney headed for the door.
"Who's the father?" Sydney spun around and snapped.
"What? Do you want to throw me a baby shower? Or how about a bachelorette party? Sloane offered to throw me one at his bachelor pad and invite the only girl friend I have at the moment, which is my sister, and I believe she's still in a coma-like state. So you want to come? We're going to have punch and cookies!"
"I'm sorry Ms. Bristow. I didn't know it would upset you so much. That is all I need for today, you can come back Friday."
"You did know it would upset me. The man I love isn't who he says he is, then walks out on me after a wreck without even seeing if I was okay. Then I find out I'm pregnant. Great life, huh?" Sydney didn't want to hear the doctor's response and left. The truth is, she was battling depression and had thoughts of suicide. She got into her black car. Black. Black is the color she'd worn everyday since that day. She didn't even like wearing the engagement ring Vaughn gave her. He was the only one she could trust and use his shoulder to cry on, but now she didn't even know who he was.
Sydney reached her lonely, empty apartment. She actually considered moving. The thought of leaving it all behind didn't sound that bad. Start a new life with a family. Actually considering working at a REAL bank. Sydney's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Sydney, can you come in?"
It was her father.
"Dad, I can't. I just put dinner in the oven." That was a lie.
"Sydney, Lauren's body is missing."
That's all for now. I'll try working on another chapter tonight!
