okay...so im gonna run before you guys kill me...
Chapter 131
“Michael…I am asking you not to go” Sydney sighed as she sat on the edge of her bed watching him get ready for a party.
“Syd, I just want to go out with the guys, Eric’s in town, Andy has this Super-bowl thing…come on” Vaughn rolled his eyes as he pulled on a black t-shirt.
“I don’t know how many different ways I can tell you that I don’t want you to go Michael” Sydney looked at him.
“Sydney, I don’t understand the big deal!” Vaughn rolled his eyes.
“Of course you don’t!” Sydney shouted, “God Michael, do I ask you for that much?”
“What the hell does that mean?” Vaughn shouted back.
“It means that I am asking you, as your wife not to go and you are basically saying ‘frack you Syd’”
“Sydney you are not the only thing in my life!” Vaughn shouted.
“You know what?” Sydney glared at him, tears streaming down her face, “Go to that party, enjoy, have fun”
“I will” Vaughn shrugged as he grabbed his wallet and walked out the door.

Sydney waited until she knew Vaughn had left until she broke down in tears.
She knew that couples fought, it wasn’t that she thought they were somehow different, it was the way things were left so unsaid, she hated thinking that those words could be the last they ever said to each other.
“Mommy?” Cathy poked her head into her mother’s room.
“Hey Angel” Sydney smiled.
“Mommy what’s wrong?” Cathy looked at her mothers tear stained cheeks.
“Nothing honey” Sydney sat up, feeling the baby kicking slightly inside her 7 month pregnant stomach.
“Sure?” Cathy asked.
“Positive” Sydney nodded, “how about we go to the store and buy some ice cream?”
“Okay” Cathy nodded, “I go get shoes”
“Good girl” Sydney smiled at her daughter who was now three years old, it had been her birthday three days prior.

“Mommy why do people follow you?” Cathy asked as Sydney carried her quickly to a park bench, trying to get somewhere where they could sit and possibly not have the paparazzi taking pictures of them.
“Because mummy and daddy are on TV and people are interested in what we do off the show” Sydney tried to explain the fixation on celebrity to her daughter.
“Oh” Cathy nodded as she licked her cone of chocolate chip cookie dough.
Sydney glanced down at her hand, making sure she was wearing her ring, yes she and Michael were fighting but the last thing she wanted was rumours that implied a breakup or divorce.
“Is the ice cream good?” Sydney asked her daughter.
“Yeah” Cathy nodded as Sydney handed her a napkin.
“It’s on you’re nose baby” Sydney laughed.
“Oh” Cathy giggled and wiped the ice cream from her nose, “all better?”
“Yep, all better” Sydney nodded.
“Good” Cathy smiled.
“You are a beautiful little girl” Sydney smiled, tossing her napkin in the trash.
“I perdy like mommy!” Cathy giggled.
“Yes you are” Sydney smiled.
“Can we watch a movie?” Cathy asked her.
“Of course, you and I can have a girls night” Sydney smiled, picking Cathy up and then standing to carry her back to the car.
“Yay! We can stay up late and swap man stories…and in the mornin’ I’m makin’ waffles!” Cathy giggled.
“Okay…we are not watching Shrek” Sydney laughed.
