Sydney awoke relatively late on the morning of Saturday October 1st 2006.
She rolled onto her stomach, turning to see the love of her life, shockingly enough, he wasn’t there, a white rose however was lying on the pillow where his body usually was.
Sydney smiled, taking the rose and standing up; she walked down the stairs quietly and leaned up against the doorframe to the kitchen.
“Guys, you need to be really quiet when Gramma and Grampa get here, there gonna take you out for the day” Vaughn was whispering to the girls, only one of them could understand his words.
“Is today your anibersary?” Cathy asked him.
“Yes it is” Vaughn grinned.
“Morning” Sydney whispered from the doorframe.
“Mommy, Mommy! Happy Anibersary!” Cathy hugged her mother.
“Thank you Angel” Sydney grinned, kissing Cathy’s forehead.
“Morning Giggles” Vaughn walked towards her.
“Morning Vaughn” Sydney smiled as he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
“mmm” Sydney grinned against his lips.
“Ewy!” Cathy shuttered, taking a dish cloth and tossing it over Erica’s head, “this is ewy sissy”
“Catherine Irina” Sydney rolled her eyes, bending down to take the cloth from Erica’s eyes, “don’t be silly”

“Michael Vaughn this is…ridiculous” Sydney looked around the room, it was lit with candles, rose pedals were everywhere, champagne was in an icebox beside the table, romantically set for two, no sane person would believe that by day, two actors with busy schedules and their two under 5 daughters lived there.
“I know” Vaughn nodded, “but I thought you’d love it”
“How much did this cost you?” Sydney laughed.
“A lot” Vaughn admitted, wrapping his arms around her from behind, “but I wanted to see your face light up”

“I know you do” Vaughn smiled, “so go upstairs and get dressed”
“I don’t have anything appropriate to wear” Sydney told him.
“Go upstairs” Vaughn laughed, “it’s all in a box, happy anniversary”

“Just go, okay?” Vaughn smiled, watching her skip up the stairs like a four year old.

“Well, I love it, and the necklace!” Sydney gasped, putting her hand on the diamond necklace that had been in the box, “it had better be a loan”
“It’s being loaned from you’re jewellery box for the night” Vaughn laughed, “surprise”
“Oh my god!” Sydney squealed, throwing herself into his arms, “I love you, I love you, I love you!”
“I love you too” Vaughn laughed, kissing her lips sweetly, “and you look so sexy”
“Thanks” Sydney blushed, “So how does this evening start”
“Outside” Vaughn took her hand, leading her to the backyard which had been decorated the exact same way as the front.
