A/N - Well everyone, this is it...the end of Foolish Ways. I have had a blast, an absolute BLAST writing this story, those of you who speak to me via aim or any other means know how much this story means to me. “She WHAT?” Sydney screamed into the phone.
“Syd it isn’t that big a deal, she fell and she twisted it” Danny said calmly into the phone.
“Not a big deal?!” Sydney gritted her teeth, “I’ll be there in 20 minutes”
“Syd you are in the middle of an interview”
“That can wait, my daughter is more important” Sydney told him, “Tell him I’ll be there in 20 minutes and he had better have a damn good explanation”

“Where is she?!” Sydney looked at Vaughn.
“Syd” Vaughn grabbed her arm, “She is having an x-ray done, it is fine”
“It’s fine!? You let her fall and twist her ankle…that is not fine!” Sydney glared at him.
“Will you please calm down, I understand you’re worried but the doctor says she is absolutely fine” Vaughn told her.
“Vaughn I’m scared” Sydney broke down, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Syd there isn’t anything to be scared about” Vaughn put his arms around her, hugging her close.
“No…not this” Sydney cried into his shoulder, “These past 8 months without you… I can’t do this alone anymore”
“What?” Vaughn pulled away slightly, settling his eyes on hers.
“I can’t…I don’t want to do this anymore” Sydney wiped her eyes, “Can you forgive me?”
“Sydney” Vaughn kissed her forehead.
“Please” Sydney whimpered.
“I love you” Vaughn told her as his green eyes began to glaze over with tears.
“I love you too” Sydney nodded, “So much”
“Mommy?” Erica’s tiny voice came from behind them.
“Sweetie?” Sydney turned around to see her daughter, her face immediately brightening, “Did Uncle Danny take you for a snack?”
“Yeah” Erica nodded and ran to her mother.
“Hi honey” Sydney hugged her, “Do you think you can go for another walk with Uncle Danny while daddy and I talk?”
“Okay” Erica nodded, “Love you”

“I can’t believe this” Sydney breathed as she and Vaughn walked hand in hand back into their Brentwood home.
“When are the girls home?” Vaughn asked, tracing his fingers over the banister.
“Later, Danny and Ben are taking them for ice cream” Sydney smiled as he refamiliarized himself with his surroundings.
“Thank you Syd” Vaughn looked at her.
“For what?”
“Letting me come home”
“I’m sorry I ever let you go” Sydney kissed him gently, “I love you”
“Syd” Vaughn smiled, “It’s okay”
“Promise?” Sydney whispered.
“I promise” Vaughn kissed her.
“Wanna go upstairs?” Sydney winked.
“Yes” Vaughn laughed.

“Hilary” Sydney smiled, holding her third baby girl in her arms.
“She is so beautiful” Vaughn smiled as he sat beside Sydney on the hospital bed.
“Do you wanna tell the girls they can come meet their sister?”
“Of course” Vaughn stood, kissing Sydney gently on the forehead and then tracing a finger over Hilary’s nose.
“Thank you” Sydney smiled as he left to get their other two children.
“Hi mom” Erica and Cathy smiled as they walked into the hospital room, Cathy was now 10 and Erica was 7. It had been almost 4 years since Sydney and Vaughn had separated and then once again found each other.
“Hi there” Sydney smiled, “This is your baby sister, Hilary”
“She’s cute” Erica smiled.

Hilary Marie Bristow Vaughn was born at 2:30 p.m at the UCLA hospital and is reportedly in excellent health. The couple already have two daughters, Cathy, 10 and Erica, 7, they were married in October of 2005 and have been together for almost 10 years – we at Entertainment Tonight, as always wish the family nothing but the best”
